You shot up gasping for air just to be sunk back down.
You ended up in the deep end and your hand was the only thing that could reach up.
Chlorine filled your nose as you touched the bottom of the pool. You bounced up and reached again in desperation.
You felt a pull on your arm as you were lifted.
You were dragged on the pavement, coughing up water and drenched.
"Who... coug- the fuck.." You choked and wiped the water from your face.
Everyone was gathered around you 'worried'.
"What happened??"
"That's Y/n!!"
"Did someone push her?"
"Omg she was so drunk she fell in!"
"No way! She's all soaked"

You had chills.
You were still coughing and looked up to see your 'savior'.
But they were gone?
"Huh?? Wait.. who helped me up?" You stood to your feet wobbling, your throat feeling scratchy. "Who the hell pushed me!"
"Y/n are you okay?" Your bestfriend came to you worried. "You're soaked, I have some clothes in my room upstairs. You can borrow them!"
Whispers came from the crowd.
"She is such a good friend!"

Then you saw your bestfriends face with a prideful smile.
Showing out infront of everyone.. she doesn't care.
You pushed the thought away and smiled.

You went back inside.
There were people of course , partying with loud music and flashing lights.
You made your way upstairs and past the people making out.
You decided to stop by the bathroom before going to get the spare clothes.
That.. was a mistake.
I should've known.
You shook your head to the sound of moaning inside the locked bathroom.
"They've been at it for awhile" A guy said startling you.
He had black hair and dark circles under his eyes. He looked like he had gotten no sleep yet somehow looked fully slept. His dark eyes gleamed, and he had a mysterious, seductive vibe coming off him. He had a muscular build with a black hoodie on.
"I just needed to take a piss" He sighed taking out a cigarette and lighter.
You just looked at the stranger dumbfounded.
He puffed some smoke in the air before looking at you and grinning with lazy eyes. "I think you're drooling a bit doll"
You snapped back into reality and unconsciously became defensive.
"Drooling? Oh please, aren't you the one sitting here listening to people bang"
He smirked.
"Oh so I'm a creep? I'm not the one soaking wet here"
You rolled your eyes. You walked pass him to your best friends room.
"Hey I'm not complaining!" He shouted laughing.
You ignored his immaturity and went to change clothes.
You walked in her room and it was huge. It wasn't surprising but huge.
Her bed was so pretty.. and her walls were decorated.
This wasn't your first time here but this time it really sunk in.
You went to her closet with all types of clothes and shoes. You felt something build inside you.
Envy.
You changed into a hoodie and skirt. You decided to keep your shoes but change socks despite them being soaked.
Just when you got finished you heard someone walk in.
You turned around in a jolt only to find your bestfriends boyfriend.

"Oh I'm so sorry!" He covered his eyes.
"I'm fully clothed"
"Oh okay" He smiled.
"What do you want??"
"Oh uh.. I just wanted to apologize for earlier"
"You pushed me!" You yelled.
"No.. No! I just wanted to apologize for not saying anything when Bren made you drink so much"
Oh he's trying to feel less guilty.
"Well you we're preoccupied" you justified.
Preoccupied making out with my so called best friend.
"It's no excuse, so I wanted to give you a gift" He pulled out a box.
Your eyes widened a bit.
No way.. Has he been carrying that around this whole time? Couldn't be a coincidence.
"It's okay Ty I-
"In my family this is what we do.. As an apology" He smiled kindly. "We give gifts"
"But it's not that deep.. You didn't eve-
"Take it" He cut you off a little sternly but gently.
You grabbed the box and opened it.
There was a gold necklace with a Red pendant on it.
"It's beautiful.. Why are you giving me this? Where did you get it from?" You looked up at him.
"Like I said, family tradition. Don't look into it to much." He saw your confusion. "I found it outside a dumpster, don't think about it too much"
You knew he lied
I believe him.
"Let me put it on you!"
Ty brought the necklace around your neck and snapped it together.
He stood infront of you.
"It looks beautiful.. for a dumpster necklace"
You looked at each other and suddenly heard a thump by the door.
"Well well.. how interesting" Bren walked inside the room and shut the door behind him. "You're not drunk enough to not recognize this is your bestfriends boyfriend, right Y/n?"
"Bren.."
