When Yuna got home that afternoon, her mom was already home and she was greeted with a wonderful smell coming from the kitchen. She tossed her bag on the floor next to her shoes and walked into the kitchen.
"How was your first day?" Hina asked, glancing back at Yuna as she sat down at the table.
"Stressful," Yuna answered simply, laying her head in her arms.
"Really?" Hina questioned, sounding a little concerned. "How come?"
"Our teacher threatened to expel us and we had to do a quirk assessment test," Yuna said.
"Wow, that's one heck of a day. But you made it and I'm sure things'll get better." Hina replied with a smile.
Yuna didn't respond, but after a few minutes, she stood up to head into the basement. But she was stopped by her mom, "Not so fast. I know you always feel like you're going to fall behind, but too much training can be bad for you. You had a big day at school by the sound of it, so you're going to relax at least for today."
"I wasn't gonna-"
"I'm your mother. I think I know you well enough to know that you weren't going downstairs just to chill out in your room." Hina interrupted.
Yuna huffed and went into the living room instead of the basement. She watched tv and played on her phone until her father got home.
Over dinner, Yuna was asked to give her parents a detailed explanation of what happened that day. And after that, she hung out in her room the rest of the night before going to bed.

The next day, classes started their first lessons of the year. In the morning, the hero course had their basic core classes before they had the hero training class in the afternoon.
After lunch, Yuna took her seat with the rest of the class and anxiously waited for the class to begin. This was something she was looking forward to since she first heard about UA's hero course. She couldn't wait.
And she didn't have to wait very long. A minute after the bell rang, All Might was leaning into the classroom, with his cape being blown by the magic wind that seemed to follow him around.
"I am here!" All Might exclaimed, his signature grin on his face, "Coming through the door like a normal person!"
The entire class started talking about how amazing All Might was as he walked up to the podium. All Might wasn't Yuna's favorite hero, but she still thought of him as more of a celebrity than some other heroes, so knowing he was going to be teaching them was just as big of a deal for her as the rest of the class.
"Welcome to the most important class at UA High." All Might started, "Think of its as hero-ing 101. Here, you will learn the basics of being a pro. And what it means to fight in the name of justice. Let's get started!"
All Might showed the class a card that read 'Battle'. Yuna blinked a few times to make sure she was seeing right. Battle training? One the second day? She wasn't sure she was ready for something like this.
"But one of the keys to being a hero is, looking good!" All Might exclaimed as compartments with numbered cases slid out of the wall. "These were designed for you based on your quirk registration forms and the requests you sent in before school started."
The class erupted in cheers and Yuna felt her excitement bubbling. She hadn't really done much with her costume form since she didn't really know what she wanted for it, but she was still extremely excited.
"Get yourselves suited up and meet me at Training Ground Beta!" All Might instructed before he dismissed the class to let them get changed.
Yuna grabbed her case off the wall and followed the other girls into the changing rooms. When Yuna got there, she opened her case and looked at the costume inside.
Her costume was a black and white dress with bits of blue and purple lining the bottom. The dress had shoulderless sleeves with a black cloak that Yuna was pretty sure was strong enough to withstand being cut by a blade. She had black boots that ended just below her knees and there were also small glittering spots scattered across the outfit that looked a lot like tiny stars. Yuna was pleased with it, especially considering she hadn't really been very specific with what she wanted as her costume.
Once Yuna had finished changing, she went outside with the rest of the class to the training ground All Might told them to meet him at. When they got there, All Might was waiting for them.
"They say the clothes make the pros, young ladies and gentlemen, and behold, you are the proof! Take this to heart. From now on you are all," All Might pause for dramatic effect, "Heros' in training! Now, shall we get started, you buncha newbies?"
"Sir!" The person inside a suit of armor, who Yuna figured out was Iida, raised his hand. "This is the fake city from our entrance exam. Does that mean we'll be conducting urban battles again?"
"Not quite. I'm going to move you two steps ahead. Most of the villain fights you see on the news take place outside. However, statistically speaking, run-ins with the worse evil-doers happen to take place indoors. Think about it. Backroom deals, home invasion, secret underground lairs. Truly intelligent criminals stay hidden in the shadows." All Might explained."For this training exercise, you'll be split into teams of heroes and villains and fight two-on-two indoor battles."
"Isn't this a little advanced?" A frog-like girl named Tsuyu asked.
"The best training is what you get on the battlefield!" All Might answered, "But remember, you can't just punch a robot this time. You'll be fighting actually people now."
"Sir, will you be deciding who wins?"
"How much can we hurt the other team?"
"Do we need to worry about the losers getting expelled like earlier?"
"Will you be slipping us up on chance or skill?"
"Isn't my cape amazing?"
"I wasn't finished yet!" All Might said, sounding annoyed. Then he pulled out some notecards and started reading from them. "Listen up! The situation is this. The villains have hidden a nuclear weapon somewhere in their hideout. The heroes must try to foil their plans. To do that, the good guys have to either catch the evil-doers or recover the weapon. Likewise, the villains succeed if they either protect their payload or capture the heroes." All Might then pulled out a box and said, "Time's limited, and we'll be choosing teams by drawing lots."
All Might finished and everyone drew lots, Yuna was put on team F. She looked around to see who she was on a team with and walked up to the boy when she spotted him.
"You're Koda, right?" Yuna asked. Koda looked at her nervously, nodded, and Yuna continued, "Well, it looks like we're working together for this. Let's just do our best and try not to fail."
Koda just gave her another nervous nod before All Might got everyone's attention again.
"I declare that the first fight will be..." All Might reached into two boxes, one labeled 'Hero' and the other 'Villain', and pulled out two balls with letters on them. "These guys!"
Team A was drawn from the hero box and team D was drawn from the villain box.
"Team A will be the heroes. Team D will be the villains. Everyone else can head to the monitoring room to watch." All Might said before everyone in the class besides the two teams fighting left for the monitoring room.

An image was requested for Yuna's hero costume. I originally didn't put one here because the picture I used as inspiration doesn't exactly match what her costume is. But I know people want a picture to help them visualize, so I'll give you my inspiration picture.

Really the only thing that I took from this was the dress. Her costume also has a cape and black boots. What this costume looks like in my mind has changed a bit from this, but I think the dress is still mostly it, so that's the main thing.
