His eyes widened and he was stunned.
"Hold on, you know my name?!"
Wait, so he really IS Eren?
THE Eren from Attack on Titan?
That is impossible.
He looked like Eren,
He sounds like Eren,
He is wearing a functional 3d maneuver gear and he can fucking heal himself, there is also Steam coming out from his wound...
Just like in the Anime.
But he is just a fictional character, how is it possible that he is actually standing right in front of you?
He quietly:
"I uh, I didn't expect that you actually knew me"
You could barely hear him saying this. He still looked very surprised.
But wait, why does it sound like he knows you?
Adrenaline crashed through you.
"Do y-you know me, Eren?"
"Hard to say, but you look just like the woman in my dreams"
Confusion was written all over your face
"Uhm, what?"
"I-"
Before he could continue, someone was screaming.
"Eren, WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?!"
It was Zeke.
Fortunately, he couldn't see you and Eren because you both were on the roof and Zeke couldn't see you from below.
He was looking for both of you, Eren signaled to you that you should be quiet.
Eren carried you again and tried to be as quiet as possible.
After aiming his 3d maneuver gear at a higher building, he jumped and the two of you were able to flee further away from Zeke.
"Shit, i think it's not safe here. This fucker is still chasing us."
He said that in a pissed off tone.
"I know a place where it should be safe"
You suggested this and wanted to address your home with it.
Eren nodded and let you navigate.
He was quick and made sure no one was chasing you two.
After a few minutes you two could finally reach your apartment. You quickly got your keys out and opened the door.
The brown-haired man followed you, your apartment was on the third floor. After opening the door you held the door open and signaled that he could come in.
But he shook his head and said
"Ladies first."
You had to chuckle a little, so he is a gentleman eh?
When the two of you were finally inside at your home, the atmosphere was pretty tense.
He stood still, looked at you with his turquoise green eyes and said nothing.
He probably had a lot of questions, just like you.
"Uhm, you can uh... put down your 3d maneuver gear and take off your shoes, it looks pretty uncomfortable."
You try to appear calm and relaxed, but it probably seemed rather embarrassing.
His eyes widened briefly when you said '3d maneuver gear'.
Eren was probably also surprised that you knew what this thing is called.
"Oh eh, sure, yeah..."
While he was taking off this thing, you went into the kitchen and got him a glass of water.
"Here, please drink something..."
"Thank you"
He took the glass of water and drank everything at once.
"Do you want more?"
"No, thank you"
He said that while giving you the empty glass back.
"You can sit down if you want Eren, you are probably exhausted"
"Better than standing around, and don't worry about me, i am fine."
He sat on the couch with you, but at a distance. And there it was again, awkward silence.
You could see he was thinking about something, probably thinking about what to say.
But you also had many questions, where should you even start?
When you were lost in your thoughts, he spoke suddenly
"What is your name?"
"Mh? Oh, my name is y/n."
His eyes widened. He was... shocked?
But why?
"Y/n... where do you know me from?"
Damn, you were about to ask the same question, but Eren was faster.
But how do you explain that to him?
You got up and went to another room, Eren remained seated. In a minute you came back with your hands full of little books and a figure.
You first showed him a figure that was supposed to represent Eren.
"Holy SHIT, is that... it that me?"
Eren was really amazed, this figure looked really great and looks exactly like him.
But then he started to blush and looked at you with big eyes.
"Yes that is you, Eren. And stop looking at me like that!"
"But why the fuck do you have a figure of me where I am presented half-naked? and where did you get this figure from?"
"I ordered it online, it is from a Manufacturer called Typical Scene Studio."
"Wait wait wait, i don't underst-"
"BUT that's not so important at the moment, you should look at this!"
You had to interrupt him because the Figure-thing was really embarrassing.
You gave him the first attack on titan manga, where everything began.
Eren opened the first page and saw all the pictures and texts.
He was shocked and began to breathe heavily, his hands began to shake.
"Why... why do you have something like this?"
His eyes were full of frustration, anger and sadness, he looked at the first page the whole time.
You were afraid to answer him, he probably knew what it was about. but you had to tell him...
"It's a manga called 'Attack on Titan', and there are 33 volumes... it was even made into an anime with 4 seasons and-"
you took a deep breath
"- you are the protagonist, the main character. "
Eren gasped and his eyes widened. He couldn't believe it was actually real.
"I don't understand, w-who wants to see a story like that..."
"Attack on titan actually has a lot of fans, including me. The fans love the characters and the story because it's-"
He gave you a sharp look
"Ohhh so they LOVE the Story, huh?
So they LOVE how people are getting eaten? How people have to die and lose everything they love?!"
"W-what n-no i-"
Eren got up and looked at you, his eyes were full of hate and frustration.
"WHAT? Ohhhhhhhh right!
I SHOULD BE HONORED BECAUSE I AM THE DAMN FUCKING PROTAGONIST IN THIS BEAUTIFUL STORY!"
He pronounced the words 'honored' and 'beautiful' particularly sarcastically.
