Suddenly, she was back to the present, and although her body felt like it had been ripped to shreds, it seemed like her captor had stopped torturing her when she had fainted.

Minutes ago she was scared of him and this situation felt like the pits of despair, but now she remembered what true despair was.

This was nothing but a human overestimating his power over her.

She remembered now, she had survived worst, and she was stronger than she had given herself credit for.

The only thing holding her back was a pair of cuffs, she was strong enough she could tear through normal cuffs without much difficulty. Although these golden ones were different, they were still noting but rings of metals around her wrists.

They were too tight for her to slip her wrist out because of the width of her hands, so she brought her two hands together and she slammed her left thumb against the wall with enough force to dislocate it, drawing a growl of pain out of her.

Even with the bump of her thumb out of the way it would be a tight fit and the cuffs were burning her so severely that she couldn't slip her hand out without irreversibly loosing some flesh.

She tucked her dislocated thumb under her index and with her free hand she forced her hand out of the cuff, the side of her hand with her pinky finger taking the most of the damage.

With a pain so searing hot that it felt like it was reverberating up her arm through her hole body, Yuki yanked her hand out of the cuff, most of her pinky finger and the side of her hand getting charred in the process.

She slipped the free half of the cuffs off of the hook that was keeping them tied to the wall behind her and, with her now free hand ,she ripped the tape off of her eyes and took the gag out of her mouth.

She looked at her still cuffed hand, trying to figure out a way to free it without sacrificing another finger. As long as the gold was on her, she was in a very weakened state; she couldn't attempt a proper escape before she was rid of it.

As she was working out a plan, she heard footsteps outside the room where she was being kept.

She was too weak to transform or walk, so she decided to crawl next to the door.

As soon as the hunter stepped into the room, she tripped him with the chain of her cuff, and she jumped on him right as he fell. She didn't even think anymore, she just let her body move on its own, and it knew how to win.

She let him try to punch her as she felt the familiar pain of the transformation echo through her, she couldn't manage to transform into a wolf, but she felt her teeth grow sharp and her nails grow into claws. She dug her nails in the man's abdomen, drawing out a yell of pain, while her other hand pushed his arms away from her throat as he attempted to choke her.

She dove forward and sank her teeth in his neck, the warm blood soon pulsing in her mouth. She ripped his jugular out while he was gurgling and choking on his own blood.

The taste caressed her lips and she was tempted to swallow it down, until she came back to her senses and spat it out, disgusted at the thought that had just crossed her mind.

She dug through the man's pants and found the key to unlock her cuffs. She freed her second hand and got up, before leaving the shed the man was hiding them in.

She turned into a wolf and walked off, towards no direction in particular.

She remembered now, she remembered everything.

Now she wished her memories had never came back.

''You let him take her just like that!'' Jimin yelled at an expressionless Yoongi.

''He would have shot her, this way we at least have a shot at going to rescue her.'' Yoongi explained calmly.

''If he was ready to shoot her then, what tells you he hasn't shot her by now!'' Taehyung added, just as pissed.

''Yoongi is right, it was the smart thing to do...'' Namjoon defended his hyung.

''We have to go after him right now! He might not kill her, but he'll hurt her for sure!'' Hoseok said while struggling to sit up on the couch.

''Don't move idiot! You're lucky you didn't end up paralysed so don't worsen your wound!'' Jin scolded Hoseok, before pushing him back on the couch.

''We're not in the right shape to fight back. We have to gather our strength, make a plan and-'' Namjoon started before being interrupted my Jimin.

''Let her get tortured and sold to some pervert!'' Jimin said, grabbing Yoongi by the collar. ''If something happens to her; it will be your fault!''

''Calm down, hyung!'' Jungkook said, trying to pull Jimin back with Tae's help. ''She's super strong, she'll be alright.''

''Just because she's strong we don't get to keep letting her hurt and take the most risk! She could have died twenty times over yesterday protecting us during the attack; but nobody ever protects her!'' Jimin yelled, tears yelling up in his eyes as Jungkook managed to pull him away from Yoongi.

''It was a tough decision to make, but Yoongi did the smart thing-'' Namjoon tried again.

''Yu wouldn't have done the smart thing if any of our lives were on the line. She would have brought us back home or died trying.'' Hoseok said, covering his eyes with his arm to block his tears.

''We're all upset, but we must look forward and find a solution instead of loosing time accusing each other.'' Jin said calmly.

They spent the next few days patching up their wounds and trying to track the path of the hunter, uselessly. He had concealed his passage expertly and he probably had a vehicle outside the bounds of their territory to put more distance between him and them.

They had no leads, they were still injured, sleep deprived, and they kept on starting stupid arguments with each other.

Yoongi hadn't slept at home in days, roaming the woods for clues or just avoiding the accusing glances of his fellow pack members.

It had been almost a week of fruitless search when Yoongi let out a howl from deep within the woods and woke everyone up.

The boys jumped out of their beds, except for Hoseok who was still too injured to get up and they ran out of the house, trying not to get their hopes up too fast but their hearts betraying them. They shifted and followed the direction of the howl.

Jin's eyes grew wide, when he discovered Yu's smell and his heart leaped in his chest.

He saw her figure about a hundred meters away and was ready to pounce and rub against her, but he saw Yoongi keeping his distance, his body language too tense for a happy reunion.

Jin slowled down first and the rest of the pack looked at him, intrigued. Namjoon followed suit and shifted back to a human, the rest soon imitating him.

''Yu! We're so happy you're back!'' Jimin exclaimed, shyly walking up to her.

The look in Yu's eyes was unlike any they had ever seen on her; it was cold and empty. Her ripped and torn clothes were so covered with blood that it was hard to believe they used to be another color than dark red. Her skin was covered in bloody gashes and stripes, and a stain of blood adorned the outside of her mouth, sending shivers down Jungkook's spine.

''Let's go home and get you patched up, okay?'' Jin said reassuringly.

Without a word, Yu simply started to walk in the direction of the house, the rest of the pack walking along silently.

''We got rid of the hunters for good! Now that you're back we should celebrate this victory, don't you think?'' Taehyung said, trying to be positive.

Yu was still silent, it was like their words weren't quite reaching her.

This wasn't the reunion they had hoped for.
