"eh- where's my ruby necklace?" yena scrambled through her luggage, her room, everywhere but, it was still nowhere to be found?
"yena, what are you doing?" soohee and the rest barged into her dorm like usual.
"I CAN'T FIND MY RUBY NECKLACE!" yena yelled in shock and the rest were stunned to the ground.
"WHY ARE Y'ALL STANDING THERE FOR? QUICKLY LOOK FOR IT!" yena yelled again and the rest quickly went over to help out.
after an hour of checking through the dorms, it's still wasn't found. and that made yena broke into tears.
that necklace was literally the only thing she had left as a memory of jungwon. and now, it's gone, what should she do?
she kept on scolding herself mentally and physically by slapping herself profusely for misplacing it. maybe if she wasn't that fucking careless, it wouldn't be lost.
"yena ah, it's alright. we can start to look for it tomorrow again. once we start looking for it, we will be able to find it. it's just the matter of time. but, five heads are better than one, right? and, don't blame on yourself too." jay comforted by patting gently on her back.
(sunghoon: jay, why can't we tell her that the necklace is with jungwon?)
(jay: she's already so hurt with him. if we told her about it, you'll know what will happen to her, i don't think i have to explain it.)
(niki: i feel really bad but, you made a point.)
meanwhile, jungwon was still on his bed, fidgeting with the two ruby necklaces, playing them as if it could hypnotise him.
swinging it from left to right....
left to right...
left to right...
that was when a throbbing pain shot up in his head. the stabbing blow caused him to shut his eyes in pain and dropped the necklace onto the bedsheets as a 'video' was playing in his head...

"can we take a walk at the park today again?" yena asked, holding jungwon's hand. "of course." jungwon replied while the both of them exited the school.
"today's scenery is somehow much prettier than yesterday's one." yena looked at the cloudless soft blue sky. "true." jungwon added and the both of them sat on the same bench they sat on yesterday.
"this flower looks nice on you." jungwon plucked a daisy and tugged it next to yena's ear. "thanks! I've got something for you too. hold on!" yena placed her hand into her pocket.
"oh? what is it?"
yena then took out her hand, showing a heart-shaped hand sign. "I love you! I love you! I love you! I love you so much! I love you for eternity!" she showed up more hearts signs. "HAHAHAHAHA!!!" jungwon laughed at her cuteness. his arms snaked through her waist, bringing her closer to his embrace. both of them were centimetres away from each other. jungwon could feel her short and soft breaths hitting his face.
"I love you so much that I will die for you." jungwon confessed. tears started to well up in yena's eyes. she felt so sad. she didn't know why but, his words touched her entire heart. "stupid, why are you even crying?" jungwon wiped her tears.
"don't ever say that! don't talk about death between you and me. I can't bear to think of it." yena cried and buried her face into his chest. she hugged jungwon back extremely tightly.
jungwon placed his head gently above hers. "stupid, don't cry. I'm just saying the truth." he muttered while he caressed her head. he tried his best to control his tears from falling but, an uncontrollable tear rolled down his cheek.
"can we come here every day? I love this place. I want to see this place during autumn with you." yena sniffed. "I'm not sure whether the autumn will be from September to November. the weather climate is changing too fast. it's supposed to be winter right now but, it's spring already. but, no matter what, I will be with you." jungwon assured her.

"tch!" jungwon pried opened his eyes when the 'video' stopped playing in his mind.
fortunately for him, the headache stopped hurting after a while.
"yena? why was she- why am i thinking of her? what happened? why was i so close to her? when? why is she in my mind? did i liked her before? or am i imagining things?" thoughts rushed through his mind.
"i must be thinking too much."
"yeap, i must be thinking too much."
he then heaved a sigh of relief as he took a sip of water to clear his thoughts.
"but, she was sure cute though." an uncontrollable smile escaped from his lips.
like the usual, 10pm.
jungwon teleported to the park, already seeing yena standing next to a bridge, admiring all the love locks there.
"it has been quite long and this whole bridge already turned into a place for love locks." yena smiled as she read some of the messages on the love locks.
"oh, i didn't notice this before." jungwon randomly looked at one of the love locks with the initials engraved "K.YN & Y. JW".
"oop- same initials!" he thought.
"yena, did you place a love lock here before?" jungwon asked.
"yeap! now, i can't find it anymore because there's so many love locks on this bridge." yena replied.
"what's your surname?" jungwon asked, hoping to be able to help yena find hers.
"kim."
"oh...." jungwon paused.
"what's wrong?"
"by any chance, is this yours?" jungwon held onto the red love lock that he was holding onto for the longest time ever. he didn't know why but, he was quite attracted to it.
"don't touch it!" yena caught a glimpse of the lock he held on and slapped his hand away.
"why? didn't you want to find-"
"don't ask any questions about it. enough." yena pulled him away and walked to the bench area.
"how the hell did he find it so fast..."
"it's pretty weird though... same initials for the both of us?" jungwon thought as he tried to connect the dots together.
"wait- did i liked yena last time? were we soulmates?" a thought exclaimed in his head.
jungwon took a look at the back of her neck and didn't see any signs of any red marks so, he shrugged the thought off.
"yang jungwon, you are getting ahead of yourself. your soulmate is minha! yena's already taken, she's not yours." he mentally scolded himself.
out of the blue, he felt the urge to start coughing hence, he excused himself and teleported to aside.

cough
he didn't know why he just couldn't stop coughing.
it became serious when he felt a metallic liquid escaping from his throat and splatter on his palm.
all he saw was...
blood
but, he still couldn't stop coughing. he can't let yena see him like this, it makes him feel weak. that's embarrassing...
he then teleported away, without telling yena anything.
the poor yena waited for fifteen minutes and went to look around for jungwon but, he was already long gone.
"maybe, i shouldn't have been so rude to him." yena lowered her head and walked home sadly.
little did she know that maeum was at the corner and she saw everything, including the fact that jungwon coughed out blood.
swiftly, maeum used a tissue and absorbed the drops of blood jungwon left on the floor and brought it back with her.
"i finally have a way to save this. wait for me, yena!" she muttered.
