"So um... Jihoon were talking about it to me earlier, and I really am sorry for not trusting you earlier..." I apologized again
"Well, I get that don't worry. Maybe she had fooled you too much till the point you wouldn't believe my words. That's understandable" said Sophia
"But I guess you have something else to ask from me. What is it ?" she asked
"Jihoon told me you were still keeping in contact with one of your exes. The recent one I mean" I explained
"Okay and ??" she raised her eyebrow
"Can you... Ask him if he's dating Ella now ?" I asked
"Let me see if he's busy or not" said Sophia as she took her phone from the table to probably text him
I felt really nervous. If she's cheating on me then what...?

I put my phone aside and immediately went to sit beside Joshua. He still couldn't process what in the hell just happened and I seriously am worried about him.
"Shua ? Is everything alright ?" I asked, even though I know it's not. He just got fooled by her. Of course he'd be like this
"I-- I don't know what to say..." his voice was cracking
I pat his back softly. I knew well how this felt. This is really painful and I understood how you felt Shua ya...
"I know how it feels Shua... I know it well..." I said as I continued on patting his back softly
"I trusted her..." Joshua was devastated. I mean... I would've too. This thing is really upsetting and I get him since I've been in his shoes for YEARS.
"Do you maybe... Want me to leave you alone...? I mean, you probably would wanna cope through it,,,," I said as I didn't really know how to help. It's usually me who'd be consoled, and I'm quiet bad at this type of situation ughhh
He shook his head
"I-I can call Chan or Jun oppa i-if you want to ! I'm sure you'd need them at this time. O-or maybe Jeonghan ???" I was lowkey panicking to be honest
He suddenly hugged me
"I'd probably need you the most at this time..." said Joshua
I was surprised of course, but I hugged him back.
"You probably wouldn't want your dongsaengs to worry about you huh ? I understand" I said as I patted his back.
I thought and thought about what would at least help him cope through this and I got an idea luckily
"How about we have a dinner at your parents' tonight ??? Surely you'd feel a bit better with them around" I said to him
"But if they asked me about what's wrong... What am I going to say...? They'd be angry at me for dating another woman while I'm married to you...." he tighten the hug as he's starting to cry

"Yeah but... Can we stay like this for a while...?? I really need some company right now..." said Joshua between his sobbings
"Of course of course. Cry it all out" I said as I rubbed the back of his head gently, trying my best to console him
"I'll call Jeonghan ssi over for the time being too. You probably need your best friends the most right now" I said to him and he just agreed so he let me go.
I grabbed my phone and a cushion. I placed the cushion on my lap as I turned to him. I then pat the cushion with a smile.
He looked at me, kinda asking for permission and I just nodded. He laid down and placed his head onto the cushion. Not gonna lie, my heart is beating so fast right now.
I then messaged Jeonghan to come over with Seungcheol, Joshua's other bestie.
After that I just caressed his hair as he started on ranting out everything and there are A LOT of breaking down. This poor guy... I'm really sorry you've had to meet that type of person...
