I only managed to cook something simple for both of us since I myself doesn't have too much of an energy to do anything to be honest. I might be exaggerating things, but I tend to get really tired whenever I work to be honest. Plus, it has been like a month ever since I've worked in an office
I washed all of the utensils and cleaned everything before going to the living room to wake Joshua up.
I shook him lightly, calling his name in the process.
He then opened his eyes slowly as he groaned
"You've gotten ready already ?" he asked as he stretched his arms
"Let's go now" he rubbed his eyes and stood up from the couch
"We don't need to go out Josh. I've cooked for both of us already" I said to him and he turned to me immediately with a shocked expression plastered onto his face.
"How long have I been asleep ?" he asked
"I'd say an hour or so ?? I'm not sure" I shrugged
"That aside, let's eat now" I smiled as I held his hand
Both of us went to the dining room together as we sat down at the table. I've already prepared the utensils and all so he doesn't have to do much.
"Sophia I swear to god you didn't have to cook ! Why didn't you wake me up earlier ?" he asked with a frown
"Nope ! I certainly have to" I chuckled as I put some food on his plate
"But you're tired aren't you ?? Yet why ?" he asked
"You are too aren't you ??? Beside, it's not that much of a problem anyways so don't worry" I said as I put on some food on my plate
He was quiet for a bit
"Thank you..." he mumbled but I could hear it loud and clear
"You did well on working today. Think of it as a reward for always working hard" I smiled at him
"Let's eat now. We can rest more afterwards" I added as I began to eat

When she said those words, I could've sworn I was on cloud nine. I'm just... Really happy. Not even my parents do this for me so I am really really touched and happy when she said those to me.
It may have been simple gestures and words, but for someone who rarely receive such attentions because of how busy my parents are, this is more than enough for me. Despite how many relationships I've been in... This has been by far the sweetest.
I just... Couldn't help but adore her.
It was then she raised her head to look at me
"Josh ?? You ain't eating ??" she asked
"A-ah, I'm about t-to !" I said, flustered
I began to eat but I couldn't stop but glancing at her. She seemed to be really focused on eating. If I were going to say a fact about her, I'd say that she's a slow eater and she focuses on her food more so she prefers to not have any conversation in between. Honestly, it's cute of her I don't know why.
"Why do you keep on looking at me Josh ??? Is it not good ???" she asked as she was pouting
"Of course it tastes great Soph" I said as I let out a chuckle
"Then why ?" she asked as she was still pouting
"I couldn't help but admire you" I said, followed by a laugh.
That was the first time I saw her flustered
"W-WHAT'S WITH TH-THE SUDDEN C-COMPLIMENT ???" she stuttered
Her cheeks were lowkey red, she was blushing for sure. I was kind of overwhelmed by that to be honest. Usually it's me who messes with me all of the time and this is seriously the first time she have ever lost her cool in front of me
"I guess you really do have a soft side huh" I laughed
"You stupid or what ??? Of course I do !" she frowned
"I'm a girl after all..." she mumbled and didn't look at me in the face
My heart actually fluttered.
"Hey" I called out
"What is it" she turned to me
"Maybe you don't have to call me Josh. It kinda feel formal for me" I chuckled
"Eh ??? Then I should just call you Joshua then ???" she tilted her head
"Just address me as Shua. We're already close so I don't see the problem of you calling me that" I said to her
"Shua eh... Reminded of someone I've talked to before. Or maybe you are him" she chuckled
Someone she have talked to ??? I don't remember talking to any Sophia in school
"We've talked ??" I tilted my head
"Kind of ?? Maybe online ?? Who knows" she shrugged
"But I've had a guy that asked me to label him as Shua or Jisoo back in my highschool year" she added
That are my names though... But when exactly did we even talk online ??? I've never talked to someone named Sophia I swear. Or maybe I had ????
"I'm sorry but I don't remember anything ??? I've never talked to someone called Sophia before" I looked at her, confused
"Because I've never used the name "Sophia" online" she laughed
"Why in the hell should I reveal my name" she rolled her eyes playfully
"Please, for the whole week we've been together, you don't even know I'm half Korean ??? Don't make me laugh OMG" she laughed
"Wait for real ?!" I asked
"JOSHUA WE'RE LITERALLY MARRIED I-- EVEN I KNOW YOU'RE HALF KOREAN--" she looked at me in disbelief
"SORRY--" I quickly apologized
Wait, half Korean ??? What's her name then ???
"Then what's your Korean name then ??" I asked, wanting to know
"Well, a lot of people calls me Soo back in the days. My name's Sooyoung" she replied
That's when it triggers my memory.
So that means we've actually known each other for years but we've never know it ???
"I guess, all of these weren't coincidental after all" she laughed
"It's hilarious how we ended up marrying as strangers and began to explore stuffs about each other in the process" she added
"Well that was a great coincidence" I laughed
"It would've been funny if we actually text each other about our that awkward ass wedding" said Sophia as she still couldn't contain her laughter
Well yeah, THAT would've been funny
"Who would've thought, we'd meet in such a way. That screams destiny if you ask me" she snickered
"Yeah... What you said makes sense" I laughed by the thought of it
