Not that long after that, we are almost arriving at the restaurant that we're going to have lunch at. That's when I forgot about telling Seungkwan and Seokmin oppa about ignoring the fact that they know me.

I let out a sigh, kind anxious cause these guys could be pranking me later on so I had to be cautious. ESPECIALLY that trio BooSeokSoon.... JiSol usually keep their words, but that trio istg. They'd test my patience like no tomorrow. Be lucky I love them or they'd ended up in a pit of hell already-
"Sophia is everything alright ?" asked Joshua
"Ah, yeah. Everything's fine. A bit dizzy that's all" I replied
"Do you happen to have motion sickness ??" he asked in a worried tone
"Ah no no. I used my phone a lot earlier that's all" I replied
"So far the works aren't stressing you right ?" he asked
"Mr Hong, it's only half of the day. I'm fine, don't worry" I said to him with a smile. I know he could see it from the rearview mirror. I could see his eyes showing concern of course.
He decided not to say much about it anymore and just focused on the road.
We then arrived at the restaurant. We got off once he parked his car. We went inside of the restaurant and sat down with their friends. Well, mine too. I'm more convinced that all of their friends are also mine back in highschool.
"Oh hyung, who is she ??" asked Jihoon
"Oh her ??? My assistant" Joshua replied
I introduced myself to them and they introduced themselves to me despite us knowing each other already. Reminded me of the past honestly
By looking at these guys, I could tell they were really trying their best not to crack up since they know me and I know them. It is also weird of me to actually use the name "Sophia" since I used to be called "Sooyoung" most of the time.
Joshua doesn't really know about my Korean name tho. Heck, I don't think he even know that I'm actually half-half just like him
We were just talking normally with each other, until Jeonghan decided to ask this one particular question.
"How did you two know each other ? Joshua and Sophia I mean" asked Jeonghan
Both of us didn't know what to answer, causing us to be quiet for a while, wanting to think of an answer that'll make sense.
"Oh uh... Our parents happen to be close and... I was searching for a house to stay in..." I said, looking down
It'd make no sense if it was Joshua who was searching for a house since that guy's a CEO. Jeonghan doesn't know about me and I know this'll make NO sense for both Seokmin and Seungkwan since they know I'm from a wealthy family
"But--"
"My parents recommended on staying with Joshua and I couldn't say no !" I cut Seokmin off before he even managed to ask anything about it.
It makes no sense cause I actually do have an apartment that I bought. I just had to move in with him because of this random ass marriage.
"Ah, that make sense" Jeonghan nodded and Joshua did too. Nervously.
"It d---"
I lowkey glared at Seungkwan, hoping none of them noticed it
"Yes yes ! It does make sense !" Seungkwan said nodding his head too
"How long have you guys been housemates though ?" Jeonghan asked
"It's been around a week already" Joshua replied
"Did you two knew about each other at least ??? I mean, your parents are close after all" asked Hansol despite already knowing the answer to that question
"Nah, we don't" I replied
"Must've been awkward at first" said Soonyoung
"It was, but it's fine now" said Joshua, smiling to hide away his nervousness.
"Though... You two seems to have matching rings tho..." Jeonghan looked at our hands and both of us really had to hide the fact that we're married.

"Eh ??? I didn't notice that at all though ! Where did you get that Joshua ?" I asked, hoping he'd play along with me
"Ah, I forgot already" he laughed, trying his bestest not to panic
"You ??" he asked
"My mom gave it to me as a present" I smiled
With that said they got less suspicious of us LUCKILY. The day goes on just like that. I didn't have a hard time during work and oddly, I didn't see Ella ANYWHERE. It was probably her day off so I don't wanna ask anything. I'm a nobody to get into people's business.
It was evening and yeah. Our works have ended. Both of us went home right after that. I didn't think much about anything since I'm already drained from using my energy today. I'm only thinking about resting at first, but then again, I can't immediately rest since I have to cook later on...
Gosh this is exhausting...
Joshua and I didn't talk much while we were on the way home. Both of us knew we were already drained from working.
"I don't think either of us are able to even cook ourselves a meal today" Joshua chuckled as he rested his head against the couch.
"I'll get to it later don't worry" I said as I exhaled. I'm really tired but I still have my duty as a wife...
"Nah, it's okay. Don't burden yourself please. Let's just grab dinner outside today" Joshua said with a smile
"You sure ?" I asked
"Well, yeah. It's your first day after all, I don't want you to stress yourself too much. Let's wait until you're fully adapted to the environment there first" said Joshua
"Such a gentleman huh" I chuckled as I sat down beside him
"You did a great work today" he patted my head softly
Honestly, my heart fluttered. I'm also touched by it. He's seriously a full husband material and I'm just really happy at this point. Sure we don't see each other that way, but it was still our duty to look after each other.
I rested my head onto his shoulder
"Thank you Joshua" I thanked him as I slowly closed my eyes
"You're welcome" he replied
