After that dinner, we head home and I went straight to my room to rest. I'm guessing he's doing the same.
I'm still surprised by the fact that I'm married to a guy I've never known in my whole life. I've heard about mom talking about a guy named "Joshua" to Sarah, but suddenly I'm the one marrying him ??? Weird...
Why ? Because I told her that I have no interest to date someone so she set me up instead ??? I don't know what to feel about this to be honest. I mean, it's weird, it just is.
Neither of us knows about each other and of course we feel NOTHING towards each other. It's just absurd for us but eh, they never said we should be a couple anyways.
I stared up onto the ceiling as I let out a sigh.
I don't think we'd ever fall in love. It just felt that way. He seemed to be a player if you ask me. Not that I mind anyways. I don't plan to actually fall in love after countless of failures. I'm just tired to be honest.

I put my phone away as I couldn't help but frown. My whole life is seriously controlled and it's annoying. Mom, I'm an adult, I'm able to plan my life well. Yet why ???
I look at the time and it's 11 PM. Maybe I want to get some fresh air. This is stressing me out already.
I changed my clothes and head out of my room. I probably would have to buy some stuffs since this house literally have nothing at the moment. I grabbed my car keys and went downstairs.
"Going somewhere ?" asked Joshua, on the couch.
"Yeah, going out to buy something" I said as I went to the shoe rack to take out my shoes.
"I invited someone over if you don't mind" said Joshua
"This late ?? A girl or a guy ?" I asked
He was quiet for a bit
"A girl then ?" I asked
"If I say yes, would you be angry ? After all this is also your house" said Joshua "we're... Married after all" he kinda hesitated
"We agreed to view ourselves as housemates don't we ?? Besides, I wouldn't even think you're cheating on me. We barely know each other" I shrugged
"Do whatever you want though. It's your house as well. Just, don't tell her we're married then" I chuckled
"I'll be back by midnight I guess ??" I said as I looked at my watch
"That's late though... Arrive earlier can't you ?" he sounded worried
"Hm ? Worried about me already ?" I chuckled as I looked at him
"You're a girl, it's dangerous to be outside alone at this time" said Joshua
"Thank you for worrying about me. I'll try to arrive home early" I smiled "Dear" I added as a joke and left to my car.

I could tell she was joking when she said "Dear" at the end, yet what was that sudden feeling of happiness that appeared out of nowhere ??? That's just weird...

I don't really plan to go home as soon as possible to be honest. Knowing that he's going to have a girl over. I'm not angry, I'm just uncomfortable. I don't really wanna say anything since it's his house too so... Yeah.
I'm probably going over to Jihoon's house cause why not. I know he's awake right now. He has always been. Working hard as a producer and all. He's such a workaholic and sometimes I worry about him.
I've texted him about coming over later and he welcomed me right away. I probably have to notify Joshua too since, yeah he's my husband now. He needs to know at least and I don't really want to worry him.
After I've done my errands, I went by Jihoon's and waited until he opened the door for me. He's living with a few of his friends and all of us are pretty much close now
"Odd for you to drop by at this hour. You're usually working your ass off in the office" said Jihoon as he invited me in
"My mom asked me to quit and applied for another job for me. I'll be starting next week so I gotta enjoy my break now" I said as I entered his house
"Your mom's unpredictable" said Jihoon
"Yeah, and she literally plans every single shit that she could for me. I'm an adult for god sakes" I rolled my eyes as I took off my shoes and went to the living room.
There was Soonyoung and Hansol on the couch, watching the television
"Hey guys" I greeted as I sat down on a single couch
"Sooyoung ?? What brings you here ??" asked Hansol, surprised to see me
"Eh, a lot happened" I said with a frown
"You're unusually unhappy though. And usually you'd be working at this time" said Soonyoung, also surprised to see me
"I'm not unhappy. I'm just a bit tired that's all" I sighed
"Got a new ring ?" Jihoon suddenly asked
"Yeah, and a new surname too" I said as I laid my back onto the couch, remembering what in the hell occured today
They seemed to think of it
"New sur--- OH--- WAIT YOU'RE MARRIED TO WHO ?!" Soonyoung looked at me, surprised
That's when it clicks for Jihoon and Hansol
"FOR REAL ??! WHY DIDN'T YOU INVITE US ???" Soonyoung asked in disbelief
"It was only an event between families that's all" I said to them
"But to who though ??? You're literally single before this" said Jihoon
"A son of my parents' business partner. A guy I know nothing about. Heck I've only met him twice including today" I said to them
"Arranged marriage ?" asked Hansol and I nodded
"Well that's a reason to be upset" said Hansol
"I'm not upset at that. I don't really mind about marrying him" I sighed
"Then what ?" asked Soonyoung
"It's just... Mom keeps on planning EVERYTHING without having MY consent ! It's frustrating since I'm literally an adult now" I frowned
"I loved it there in the office, but I had to quit because I have to be my husband's personal assistant for god knows why" I rolled my eyes
"As much as I don't mind, can't I at least be able to plan my own life ??? This is frustrating" I threw my head back on the couch
"Must've been tough" said Soonyoung
"It is." I pouted
"Isn't your husband angry though ?? About you coming by our house that is" asked Jihoon
"Why would he ?? Both of us doesn't even see each other as a couple and on top of that, he's also bringing a woman over. Probably a girlfriend of his or maybe not. Who knows" I shrugged
"Your level of unbothered has never failed to Impress me. You literally gives zero fucks about him bringing over a woman in your house" said Hansol
"It's not like I'm not used to it anyways. After all, neither of us have feelings for each other so we don't really care. We just view ourselves as housemates and that's all" I explained
"I mean, as long as you two aren't starting a war in the house then it's alright I guess" said Jihoon
"That's the point" I pointed at him
I don't wanna talk much about it anymore so we dropped the topic off. We decided to catch up since none of us got to hang out with each other for quiet a while and this is a perfect chance to catch up.
I had fun for the night and would head back later on. I hope he wouldn't be angry about me returning late at night.
