He knows?
"You know what?" I ask suspiciously.
He shakes his head, "I know, about you and Noah." I furrow my eyebrows. What does he mean he knows? Like he knows knows?
"What do you know about me and Noah?" I ask and he smirks. "I'm not an idiot Pumpkin I see the way the two of you are together."
I cough, choking on air, "It's only been a few weeks, please don't be mad." I say pleading with my dad and he just laughs.
"That thing between the two of you has been going on for years." he says and it's my turn to laugh, "Trust me dad it's only been going on for a few weeks."
He nods grabbing the plates and taking them to the sink, "Does Brady know?" he asks and I freeze.
"Umm, no." I say and I can see him nodding his head. I can feel a lecture coming.
We stay in silence for a while, him doing the dishes and me preparing for what he has to say. I send a text to Noah letting him know.
Me: Dad knows about us rip
Once he finishes the dishes he comes up to the counter across from me. I can see his face it's his 'we need to talk' face.
I sit up straighter setting my phone on the counter giving him my full attention.
"Do you two plan on telling him." I take a deep breath, "I don't know." he shakes his head in disapproval.
"Pumpkin, you guys need to tell him before he finds out on his own." I gulp grabbing the sleeves of my sweater.
I hear my phone buzz, probably Noah. "I know. I'm just worried on how he will react." I say honestly.
He takes deep breath, I know he's about to rant. Before he can there's a knock on the door.
I get up from my seat as fast as I can and answer it. When I open the door Noah is standing there on the other side. How did he get here so fast?
"Noah what are you doing here?" I whisper looking behind me.
He steps into the house, "I got your text." I try to stop him but he makes his way into the kitchen where my dad is standing.
"Ah Noah, now I can say what I need to say." I step next to Noah when he freezes across the counter from my dad.
Noah goes to say something but my dad stops him, "Noah I like you, you're like a son to me. If I could pick any guy for my little girl it would be you. That being said however-"
I suck in a breath preparing for what he needs to say.
"This relationship affects my son. Now I am not saying break up, I am saying tell Brady. He may not like it but at least he is aware. I can only support the two of you once he is made aware of this relationship.
With that being said, Noah take care of my daughter. I trust you, don't make me regret it. Once Brady knows, the two of you will have my full support. No matter how he takes it."
I nod my head, he definitely took it better than I thought he would. I see Noah nod his head as well accepting what my dad said.
"Well I am going out, I need to pick some things up for Christmas dinner in a few days. See you two." he says grabbing his jacket and heading out of the house.
Noah and I turn and stare at eachother.
"Well that went better than I thought it would." Noah says and I nod. "What are we going to do about Brady." I ask nervously biting my lip.
He sighs running his hand through his hair, "Maybe we should tell him." I look down before looking back up at him.
"How about after the holidays?" I ask and he nods his head in agreement. "Wanna watch a movie?" he asks and I agree. I need to take my mind off of everything.
We pop some popcorn before heading into the living room. I turn on the TV and go to sit on the couch. Noah follows putting the popcorn bucket on the coffee table. He lays his head on my lap and I run my hand through his hair.
Halfway through the movie I begin to get lost in my own thoughts.
I start to think about what will happen once I tell Brady. Once we tell Brady. How will he react?
Will he hate Noah?
Will he hate me?
He's my twin could he hate me? What if he does, could he ever forgive me?
So many questions, I can't have him hate me. In the end he's my other half, I know we haven't been getting along but still. I don't want to hurt him, but I am so in love with Noah.
He should see that and understand...right?
I feel a pinch in my side and look down to see Noah staring up at me.
"You ok Bails?" I nod running my thumb over his cheek, "Yeah just thinking."
He smiles, "Let me be really corny for a second, What's going on in that pretty little mind of yours?" he asks and I sigh leaning my head back on the couch.
"What if he hates me?" I ask and Noah sits up on the couch. "Who hates you?"
I turn my head to look at him, "Brady. What if we tell him and he hates me?" Noah shakes his head, "He won't hate you, he might hate me but not you. You're his sister."
I let out a breath of air I was holding, "He won't hate you." he shakes his head, "No matter what, he'll get over it. I just know it."
I nod and he leans in kissing me. Pulling away I rest my head on his shoulder continuing the movie.
The thoughts still in my mind.
He will hate me, I can feel it.
