The duo arrived on the hyperion and Himeko said "What the hell happened in that cabin?" Alex then said "We found a family that was killed, it was a murder suicide. I buried them" Himeko gluped "Captain is this true?" She nodded. Alex then said "I'm going to drop the seeds off in my room, I'll be right back."
Alex ran to the room swiped the keycard and placed the seeds on his desk before rummaging through it looking for something. He then found a small box of syringes and said "Yes, yes." He then took one out and injected it into his neck and said "Oh yeah." He then placed the used syringe into another box and placed both back in his the drawer. he then left his room and walked back to the captain.
As Alex got back theresa joins in and said "Oh good, you're here. I guess I should fill you in on what's happening next." Alex nodded. "School is starting back up for the students real soon, as such the hyperion will be at the school for the next few months. So we have decided to place you with the captain in her dorm." The captain then said "W-wait, that wasn't what we agreed upon?" Theresa then said "Sorry, had to you live all alone in that dorm and you need to get some roommates." The captain then rolled her eyes and said "Oh boy, not this again." Himeko then scoffed "Well there is no room left so he's gotta stay with you." The captain then turned her head and said "fine, if it can't be helped." Alex chuckled and said "Well if it makes you feel any better this was a complete surprise to me too." The captain then rolled her eyes and said "Great" sarcastically.
After a few days The hyperion was hovering above the school and Alex said "Woah, never thought I'd see a place like this." The captain then said "Oh you haven't seen nothing yet. There is a floating base that is the main HQ of the schicksal." Alex then said "Sounds neat." The captain then smiled "It really is." Theresa then said "Captain go to the bridge, I need to speak with Alex for a minute." The captain then said "got it." before leaving. Theresa made sure the captain was out of sight before saying "Alright, now listen here, I need you to do me a huge favor?" Alex then said "Depends, what is it?" Theresa sighed "Can you just watch over the captain." Alex looked confused and said "What, why?" Theresa then said "because people will want her for things. You've seen how beautiful she is." Alex nodded "I see, but why me?" Theresa then said "Well for one thing, with classes starting back up again she'll have no one to protect her." Alex then said "What have you done before me?" Theresa then said "we just had her in my office until I was done for the day, and if she had to go out, well i had to go with her." Alex then nodded "I see, I'll do it." Theresa nodded then pulled out a small box and said "And what are these?" Alex looked shocked and said "Wha- why do you have those?" Theresa then said "I had a small snoop earlier, now what are they?" Alex then said "My medication, I didn't mention this on my file but I suffer from a condition which causes my heart to go crazy at times and start beating at extreme rates, those syringes in there help regulate my heartbeats." Theresa looked concerned "Is everything going to be ok, with you I mean?" Alex nodded "As long as I use a syringe once every 6 or so hours I should be fine, but I should be fine for up to a few days if nothing big happens." Theresa then said "how do your parents feel about this?" Alex then said "I don't have any. I was just a rushed creation after all." Theresa looked confused "Wait what?" Alex then chuckled " It'll take a while to tell so I should talk about this more later."
The captain was waiting on the bridge when Alex walked in. She looked at him and said "Oh hey, what did you talk about?" Alex just shrugged "Just about you." The captain then shook her head with a smile "I knew it, That theresa is always looking out for me." Alex then propped himself up onto one of the railings and said "So you know what's going down?" The captain nodded "Well of course, she is always trying to do this, I was entrusted to her by my father. At the time he was working a lot and my mother left when I was young. So he turned to the schicksal and by extension Theresa. She's been good to me." Alex then said "So I've heard." The captain looked at Alex and said "Anything interesting I should know about you?" Alex chuckled "Well I was working as a mercenary a few months back, had to get out of it when I was almost killed in an explosion." The captain then said "Oh my."
The two talked on and on even when leaving the hyperion. Himeko looked to theresa and said "Are you ok with him talking to her like that?" Theresa nodded "I'm cool with it, why you asking?" Himeko then said "I just think it's fishy that you trust him to look after her?" Theresa then said "I did have a talk with him earlier about things, he seems trustworthy enough and if he ever does double cross us then the revenge can be twice as good." Himeko then shrugged "Alright if you say so."
A couple of weeks later. Streets of soukai
Alex and the captain were walking down the street Alex was going to get food and the captain had to tag along. She looked at him and said "So what do we need?" Alex then said "Just the essentials, I thought you knew this?" The captain then said "Oh, right, my mind has been wandering recently so I thought we were going someplace else." Alex then said "is everything ok?" The captain then nodded saying "Yeah, just been having these weird feelings recently." Alex then said "Do you need my help?" The captain shook her head and said "Huh, oh no it's fine."
Alex and the captain walked through the store and got everything they needed as they were leaving Alex began to hear beeping. He looked around with confusion and the captain said "is everything ok?" Alex nodded and said "Yeah I just thin-" They then heard an explosion rock the store and Alex said with worry "I think we should get out of here." The captain agreed but before leaving the ground caved in. Alex grabbed the captain and said "We gotta help the people here. You stay put, keep yourself out of trouble." The captain then said "Got it!" Before Alex helped the others.
The captain wondered what had caused the explosion, she then saw a few people run away from the store and she wondered "Are those the people who did it?" As she turned around to go check on Alex, someone had grabbed her "Oh come on, don't tell me you didn't see this happening." The captains mouth was covered and she looked up to see a man holding her, He then said " You are going to be a good girl and come with us, or we'll be sending you to you father one bit at a time. The captain looked shocked and nodded. "Good" said the man leaving the store. "Now follow me and don't do anything stupid."
After helping everyone Alex went over to find the captain, only to see that she wasn't there "Captain? Where did you go?" He looked around before contacting theresa and he said to her "The captain's gone?" Theresa then said "dammit, I'll pull up her location and ping it to you." Alex nodded and said "Ok, I'll head there as soon as you give me the location." Theresa sighed "You're going to need back up." Alex then said "alright I'll go ahead you can catch up." Before hanging up
Theresa looked at a photo of the captain and her father and said to herself "I won't fail, not now. not ever. I will take all the blame, It was my fault after all. I shouldn't have-" Her voice began to trail off. "I shouldn't have." She then left her desk and said "It's too late now to worry, my only goal is to help Alex bring her back."
The captain looked at her captors and thought "How the hell am I gonna get out of this unscathed. Alex probably doesn't even know where I am and I can't fight either." She then looked at the ropes that kept her in place. "Ugh and these ropes too, they're so tight." She then began to think about life from before she became the captain, from when she was just a normal school girl with just a father, she missed those days. However she didn't mind her new life, Kiana, Mei, Bronya, Himeko, Theresa and Alex.
Alex ran down the street and into the building that the captain was located in. He saw a guard and tackled them and beat them knocking them out. Alex then stood up and looked around. There were 5 people total in the building. he then looked at the captain. He formulated a plan in his head and said to himself "Alright, just get the captain and go." He rushed to the captain and took down the two people near her before grabbing her and running off. "Gotcha." he said as they ran out. Alex then removed the tape and said "Feeling better?" the captain smiled "Much, thank you." Alex then ripped part of the rope causing it to fall. "And that" He said. The captain chuckled "Thanks."
As the two escaped The captain said "so how did you know?" Alex then said "I just followed and waited for the perfect moment." He lied. The captain then did something that she'd never think she'd do. She gave alex a peck on the cheek. Alex reacted by saying "captain, I, wow, first time being- what is this feeling." He then placed his hand on his chest and felt his heart rate rise. "Oh no?" The captain looked confused "Alex?" Alex stopped running and leaned against one of the buildings "This is bad." The captain then said to Alex "Alex what's wrong?" Alex began to drift in and out of consciousness. "Captain, I-I'm sorry. Just keep running, I'm sure theresa will find you." The captain shook her head "No, I'm not leaving you." Alex looked to his right and saw the people who took the captain "Just, run. My body can't handle it anymore."
The captain stood her ground and said "I'm, not, leaving, you." As the the people came closer Alex said "Damn you're stubborn. well, If I am gonna die here. At least it's with you." The captain blushed. Just as the 3 people got to the duo theresa attacked them saying "I've had to put up with a lot of shit, but this takes the cake." She beat the three up knocking them all out before turning to Alex and the captain. "Oh shit, we gotta get him to the academy." The captain looked at theresa and said "Why what's wrong with him?" Theresa then said "He will explain when he wakes up." She then looked at Alex and thought "if he wakes up"
