Kim Seokjin, Jung Hoseok, Kim Namjoon, Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook, the most eligible and handsome bachelors in the whole country, soon to be the head alphas of Silver Moon Pack. Many famous packs are dying to tie knot with them or marry their omegas, betas or even alphas with them. But they were not interested as they wanted to live like they wished.
Living in Seoul was not their idea. They would rather live in New York or London or Paris like their cousins or friends than suffer in cold or burn in the summer. They were against it wholly. But they couldn't deny the fact that they have some responsibility toward the pack as pack leader's sons. But right when they finally made their mind to go to their own path their characterless father decided to step down from the Post of Head Alpha to live his life more fully (or should I say more shamelessly). That's the reason they despise their father. The five brothers hate that man so much that they take on their deceased omegin's surnames and not his father's. Maybe it was pathetic but they couldn't let go of the place wholeheartedly, just because of their omegins. That's the only memory they had of their omegins. They took their last breaths in that same place and they didn't want to lose it.
But they had another reason to not to leave Korea.
They have to find their lost brother Min Yoongi.
When they were pups their omegins take them to some park for hunting practice. When they got tired their omegins had sat them down, gave them water and delicious homemade fruit cakes, cookies and explained them that it was their duty to protect their pack, after their father. They taught them to always stick to each other and told them to find their lost pillar, their brother. But they didn't think they had to take the responsibility this soon just because of their shameless father, who just wanted his own happiness.
Seokjin was the eldest of all of them. He had to look up after his brothers. He was very charming and wished to become an actor.
Jung Hoseok was the second in command in group and the sunshine and hope. He wanted to become a dancer.
Kim Namjoon was the leader of the group and the calmest person you've ever met. At the age of twenty-five he was managing a pack of over 200 wolves along with his brothers while expanding their business. And no, they did not find their mate yet. He always scoffed at the idea of finding one and settle down because who would love him? As the clumsiest one in the group and being a god of destruction, he had this very insecurity in him.
Kim Taehyung was the second youngest of the pack and the comedian of the group. He can do anything to make his brothers laugh. He was the kindest soul just like his omegin.
And there is Jeon Jungkook. Youngest of the group and is good in everything (GOLDEN MAKNAE Y'ALL). He was very fond of his hyungs and admire them very much, specially Namjoon and being the youngest he's the most spoilt and the most loved one. Also, the most hot headed one.
The alphas often got looks from the pack elders, especially their wives. Because ideally, they were supposed to have their omegas and settle down. Produce pups and take charge of the pack. None of which they were looking forward to.
Their pack resided in the wilderness of the north side in Seoul. For a place such as Seoul the alphas expected people with guns, heavy snow falling and excessive heat. Two of them was true. Heavy snowing and burning heat. They hate the weather here when it snowing, they ended up cleaning the blocked path and in summer they had to stuck in their houses to prevent a sun stroke.
They always wanted to live outside of Seoul, on their own, experience the ditzy glam life or some countryside by the seashore. And New York, London, Paris they were way better than Seoul but their pack was adamant about shifting. They didn't like to live here a bit but they were way past complaining about it.
Their pack members loved it though as they did weird gathering and festivals in the backyard.
"What's wrong?" Seokjin asked to Namjoon who was in deep thought and mumbling sometimes, his breaths hitting the space around them in puffs of white.
They were in the backyard, cleaning the snow around their packhouse. Most of the worker were busy with their father, Soo-hyun and his new plaything a 25 years old omega. That's why the five of them walked out to get some fresh air. They just can't stand their father's new family.
"He's definitely thinking about how fucking cold it is" Jungkook gritted, pushing at the shovel more harder.
The snow was thick around the edges as it snowed heavily previous day. He could feel some of it seep into his ankle boots.
Namjoon chuckled, the sound echoing around, "That's all you. Not me."
"Really? Try being more convincing next time" Taehyung argued.
"Few minutes of peace. That's all I ask" Seokjin dramatically pushing his hair back from his sweaty forehead. The Alpha looked at his brother and rolled his eyes.
"You started it. We were working in peace" Jungkook countered.
Hoseok haughtily shook his head, "You mean in silence, right? Because that is not my definition of peace."
Seokjin pointedly looked at his brother, "Do you think I care?"
Namjoon let out a sigh and decided not to interfere. Even though they were brothers who had each other's back, they fought a lot. It was sort of their source of entertainment. Pathetic, I know, but hey beggars can't be choosers.
"Boys!" His father's voice called them out and they all turned to look at him.
"Get inside."
"What part of 'need some fresh air' doesn't he understand?" Jungkook grumbled propelled the shovel deeper in the snow and went in.
Namjoon just took a deep breath before turning on his heel and walking inside. The other three had no choice but to follow. They neither stand their father nor his way of handling things and his new so-called family. Not new though.
He changes his omegas in every two to three months and this one is the longest six months running. And through this whole six months she kept tried to get in their pants. And they didn't like those actions a bit.
Walking through the packhouse, Namjoon looked at all the familiar faces. They have spread around, few of them lazily sitting on chairs while others were leaning against the wall.
Even though they lived among the wild, their packhouse was the most exquisite construction. With high ceilings, plush furniture, and rustic paintings it made a luxurious place for everyone to live. Not to mention several different floors inside for every member so that they can be accommodated comfortably.
"So the reason for this gathering is to address the most important issue." The current pack leader, Soo-hyun cleared his throat. Namjoon noticed how he was pointedly staring at each of them. He squirmed in his place, semi aware of where it was going.
"I have been requested this many, and I mean many, times for protection for omegas from a group named Black Shadow from southern part." Soo-hyun breathed, "The reason we refused to merge packs or accept rouges without training is to maintain the strength of the pack. But due to some recent events, Black Shadow group have asked us for assistance and we are readily going to provide them..."
The murmurs and whispers began among the members and they looked at each other. Namjoon felt his brother nudge at him and raise his eyebrow. As if asking him he had any idea about it. Yeah, like his father tells him anything. The Alpha shook his head at his brother.
"So you are actively putting our pack in danger to protect those?" Dong-gu, an elder alpha sneered. He was the selfish one anyway so that didn't surprise any of the five brothers.
The current pack alpha shook his head, "No. we're going to help them, and they're going to help us in return. We're going to create bonds with them. We lack omegas anyway. So, their unmated omegas are going to mate with our unmated alphas. As we are an extremely strong pack, they need our protection."
"So", Elina, an unmated omega raised her hand and spoke. "do we all have to live in the same packhouse with them?"
Soo-hyun shook his head. "No. this is our place, no one is going to share with us. As always, mated or soon to be mated alphas live in a cabin and unmated ones will stay here. Everything is the same except we just have to protect those omegas in southern part. That's all."
Soo-hyun took a deep breath and continue, "Actually I have another announce to make." Soo-hyun glanced at the five brothers who just held their breaths. "I decided to step down from the leadership and let my sons to lead this pack from now on."
Those words hit the five brothers like bomb. They weren't ready nor that much interested but they have to swallow the decision that their 'father' made.
"Any more questions?" Soo-hyun asked but no one utter a word so he, dismissed everyone.
Seokjin and Hoseok sighed beside Namjoon and as they were about to leave they felt their fathers presence.
"Boys, Sunmi and I wanted to talk to you all."
Jungkook snorted, "we have nothing to talk about with..."
He trailed while glaring at his so called step-mother but she just smirked and Soo-hyun stared at her the omega sadly shrugged. She was a poisonous snake.
"Jungkook" their father gritted.
"Are you done Alpha?" Taehyung and Hoseok said in unison "Because we actually have work to do. Shocking I know." Taehyung said purposefully staring at Sunmi.
Soo-hyun siged, "It is important. Just listen to me."
"Okay." Seokjin sighed.
"You all are shifting to a bigger cabin in southern part. One of the largest out there."
The alpha frowned. "Why?"
"Because we need you there to protect those omegas and also, we want all of you to find your mates, because this pack needs their Luna. As I step down Sumni will no longer be this packs Luna." Soo-hyun said bluntly.
The alphas stilled at those words. Why the hell would their father want them to find mates? That was frowned upon. They held their breath, hoping that it would be a joke even though they didn't have that kind of relationship.
Jungkook was the first one to scream, "What the fuck?"
"Dad are you fucking with us?" Seokjin yelled at the same time.
It took Namjoon, Hoseok and Taehyung a moment to process. "Wait, what?"
Soo-hyun nodded his head, glaring at both his sons, youngest and the oldest.
"You both need to watch that mouth of yours."
"That is what important right now? Seriously?" Jungkook exclaimed, crossing his arms against his chest.
Sunmi made a soft sound, "You five should respect your father. he's your pack alpha."
"Didn't realize that we asked for your opinion" Hoseok huffed glaring at her. He didn't care if it was rude because he just couldn't stand her or her behavior.
"And beside he 'Was' our 'Pack Alpha'. The moment he announced his retirement he became a normal alpha, doesn't matter whose father he is. now we are the Pack Alphas. I hope you remember that in future." Namjoon said with so much cold in his voice, everyone felt that.
"Namjoon not you too" His father glared at him. what was his father expecting from him? To respect the woman who tried to seduce each one of them and sleeps around behind her Alpha's back?
Namjoon frowned.
"Is this some kind of sick joke?" Jungkook harshly banged his hand against the rack behind him.
The other three growled, agreeing with their brother, "Exactly. we don't need a fucking omega-"
"Shut up!" Soo-hyun roared, "All of you shut up. You are going to the south and find your mates and that's final." His eyes glowed red.
The five boys snarled and got up to leave.
"We're just going to listen to you this last time because you were the mate of our omegins and the sperm donor of us, that's all. Don't expect anything beyond that. Not now, not ever." Taehyung make a cold remark without looking at the man and went out with his brothers.
