Not much later, about a minute, Brennen walks in. Automatically he stands straighter. Getting ready to fight. Ever so defensive. If he were telling the truth, he wouldn't be so unprepared.

Good. He's getting frustrated. If you can manage to upset him enough, he will either accidentally tell the truth or storm out. If he storms out, he's lying.

Brennen- yeah because he's a cheater!

He says this in a frustrated growl, meaning you've hit a nerve.
Y/n- So tell me, did he have hickeys? STD's? Smell like another girl?

Y/n- This whole time he's only worn the same scent. How come I haven't seen hickeys or smelt a perfume on him since I moved here?
Brennen- He could cover it on his way home.
Y/n- and if everyone is supposed to be sleeping, why would he do that?
He looks a bit panicked.
Brennen- you're awake at night?
Y/n- I'm depressed, I don't sleep
He gets frustrated again, and storms out.
He was lying. So far Colby appears to be a player and a cheater. Wonder if anybody else is going to come explain why to stay away from the big bad man.
