Chapter 27- Shopping Trip

This is the first time I've truly gone shopping in a while. For things I want but don't need. Colby looks like he's planning something or just hiding things from me and it's making me uncomfortable but oh well. We've gone from store to store trying to find different decorations for my room and different clothes and shoes. I feel bad for using his money yet I know he understands because I need this. Hell he told me I don't need a job. We've now basically filled his trunk and he looks bored.
I poked his cheek and giggled, getting his attention. He chuckles and looks back down at me.
Colby- Yes darling?
I blush slightly as I look back into his eyes
Yn- I think I have enough, but I'm hungry. I'll do your laundry for some fast food
Colby looks at me and smirks a bit

Yn- oh I'm full, how have you not touched it?
Colby- you know why
I look at him weird and to my surprise he takes a mini tater tot and eats it. I pretend to be hurt and he only looks at me, chuckling softly
Colby-you were the one pestering me about it Yn
Yn- while that may be true I am still offended. I didn't think you'd take it
He laughs and sits back
Colby-wanna togo package? There's not much food and I'm sure the wolves- meaning huge raccoons of course- will be happy with you tossing it
Yn- there wouldn't be raccoons in a place like this would there?
Colby-we're there raccoons in Florida?
Yn- well yeah bu-
Colby- so a togo box or not?
Yn- it's only a handful of tots, I'll toss it
He nods and grabs your food, walking it to the garbage for you before coming back and offering his hand for you to get up
Yn- such a gentleman
He chuckles softly, walking you to the car to bring you both home.

I don't mind doing his laundry, it's just weird to think that I now know how he does it and what size boxers he wears. Katrina pulls me off to the side when I finish starting the load and looks me dead in the eye
Kat- why are you doing his laundry and might I ask why he was bringing bags and bags on bags to your room a minute ago?
Well, let's hope she doesn't freak out..
Yn- well, him and me made a deal. I'd help him around the house and with his YouTube and he's going to give me an allowance so I don't have to get a job for my own sanity. He took me shopping today because my room is so bleh. I'm doing laundry cuz he took me out for a brunch type thingy
Kat- he took you out? Like food?
Yn- well yeah- it was actually funny. I pestered him about how he wasn't eating, even though I thought he couldn't, and he took one of my tater tots
Katrina looks at me with a slight shocked expression but quickly covers it with another question
Kat- Sam might have to beat him up. You mean to tell me he took you on a date and your paying him back by doing laundry?
Yn- well I dunno if it was a date-
Kat-he took you to eat and took a piece of your food after he'd taken you shopping all morning
Yn- huh.. I didn't think of it that way
Kat- EVEN WORSE! He wasn't being romantic enough for you to think it was a date. Sam is going to have a talk with this boy
I giggle and she smiles softly, bringing me to my room so we can unpack together. She literally calls Sam in and has me tell him exactly what happens. He laughs and pretends to angrily go get Colby, who chuckles as he tries to "defend" himself.
Today's been a good day.
