Another one down!!! We are plowing through and I am having so much fun! I hope you guys are loving these as much as I am!

_____________________

"What do you mean goodbye?" The yellow haired boy said to you as you gave him a final hug at your graduation.

The firm you worked for was sending you over seas, your time in Japan would be slim to none from here on out. But your heart breaked as you held onto the boy infront of you.

"I don't know when I'll see you again. So I'm saying goodbye."

You had to break up with him, it wasn't fair or right to string him along for the rest of his life for your own personal gain. You had both been dating since you were first years and the three years you were together were magical.

He was such a dork an a sweetheart, which is why you couldn't bare to put him through something when you didn't even know when you would be back.

"W-wait...You're breaking up with me?" He pulled away from you with wide eyes as tears started to fall from both you and him. "I have to...I can't string you along Denki." He quickly grabbed your shoulders, giving you a serious look.

"We can make it work! I will always wait for you (Y/n)."

"If only it were that simple...." You muttered with a sad smile, placing a hand on his cheek. As much as you wanted nothing more than to accept his offer, you couldn't guarantee you would ever return to Japan.

"Please don't leave..." Denki cried, gripping onto your shirt, his knees weak from all the emotions flying through his mind.

You placed a small kiss on his cheek, "I'm sorry."

____________________

Denki rubbed his eyes as he sat up in his bed and looked at the clock that read: 6:30pm. Yawning from the much overdue nap, he stood and went to the bathroom, dragging his feet on the floor.

He was tired, but he had a class reunion to go to. It had been 10 years and suprisingly most of class 1-A had kept in touch with eachother all their lives, even most of them landing in the same classes as third years.

"Owww-..." Denki whined, switching the bright lights on as he grabbed his toothbrush and began to get ready.

His final act was putting on the suit, making sure to pick off the fuzz in the mirror. Stopping for a moment, he looked at himself. "Ten full years...You're getting old you bastard." He commented to his almost 30 year old self.

Denki walked out as he grabbed his tie, tying it around his neck as his eyes trailed over to his bedside table. His eyes stopped to glance at the photo he kept neatly in a frame.

Ignoring the fact he was already late, the boy sat down on his bed and finished his tie off as as picked up the picture. There was a reason he was getting all dressed up tonight, sure it was a reunion, but he was more nervous about someone else being there.

The photo was a picture of you on a kayak as a large waterfall could be seen behind you. Denki remembered that class trip like it was yesterday, you two had just began to date about two months prior and to say his heart lept in his chest when you chose him as your buddy for the trip was an understatement.

He wasn't the smartest, but yet you still cared for him, loved him. The countless times you told him, the warm hugs, and the...uhm, 'extra curricular activites' you did made every moment with you feel like he was in heaven.

He adored you, and as he looked at the photo, Denki knew he still did. You were a lasting memory, one that he couldn't just sweep under the rug. Even so, a few months ago he had seen your face in the papers walking hand in hand with someone else.

The only thing that kept him going was the simple fact that in the photo you didn't look happy at all. However, that didn't stop Denkis jealousy from eating away at him.

"God she is so fuckin perfect." His heart thudded in his chest as he looked at the clock, deciding he better go before they assumed he just wasn't going to show. With a sigh, he placed the picture back down and grabbed his keys, leaving his apartment and heading for the school.

The music was loud as it pounded in his ears, they had you all starting off in the gym at first so everyone could find eachother.

"DENKI!" Sero and Mina cheered, running up to their electric friend and engulfing him in a hug. "Hey guys. It's been a while!" He said with a smile, Sero pulling back and smacking him on the arm. "It's been months!" He reorted, a fake tear coming to his eye.

"I know, I know. Work just got super busy!" Denki nervously stated, rubbing the back of his neck. "Oh! The others are here too!" Mina said, excitedly taking his hand and dragging him to the class 1-A circle that had formed. Everyone was there as they greeted him, giving smiles and hugs.

But you were nowhere to be seen.

Denkis face dropped, Mina noticing his shift in mood and quickly deciphering why. She rubbed his back in a consoling manner, "We all miss her. But that stupid firm of hers only allows her back here once a year!" Mina grumbled.

Denki wasn't the only one who lost you, though he was greatly impacted by it. Mina was your best friend and pretty much the whole of your class was as well. Even Bakugou was slightly grumpy towards your firm, making off-color remarks about them everytime he saw them.

"I thought she would have come back for this too....but it isn't her fault." Mina said, attempting to cheer up the down trodden boy. After a moment, a large grin appeared on her face.

"Lets grab some cookies and cake and enjoy the break!" She cheered.

Another half hour passed as everyone from class 1-A had been standing and talking while eating and occasionally dancing. There was a smile on everyones faces as karaoke blared in the background, the song 'Mr.Brightside' starting up as they continued to chatter.

'Coming out of my cage and I've been doing just fine, gotta gotta be down because I want it all. It started out with a kiss, how did it end up like this? It was only a kiss, it was only a kiss! Now I'm falling asleep and she's calling a cab, while he's having a smoke and she's taking a drag. Now they're going to bed and my stomach is sick and it's all in my head....'

Sero walked to grab a refill before turned and looked to see who was singing the words to the song. His eyes went wide and a smile came to his face as he rushed back to his class.

'But she's touching his chest now, he takes off her dress now..let me go!'

"Guys!" He screeched, everyone looking toward him as the song blared on in the background. "What tape-shit?" Bakugou questioned.

'And I just can't look, it's killing me
And taking control..."

Sero pointed his finger up to the stage, everyone looking and seeing you standing with your eyes squeezed shut as you sang the incoming lyrics:

"Jealousy, turning saints into the sea!!! Swimming through sick lullabies! Choking on your alibis!!!! But it's just the price I pay! Destiny is calling me.
Open up my eager eyes!!!!....
'Cause I'm Mr. Brightside!"

Denki dropped his drink as he watched you sing your heart out, people cheering you on from below the stage as you danced around and pretended to play guitar.

"I'm coming out of my cage and I've been doing just fine, gotta gotta be down because I want it all. It started out with a kiss, how did it end up like this? (It was only a kiss), it was only a kiss!"

The dress you were wearing hugged your curves beautifully, the high-low full skirt made you look shrouded in elegance. It was off the shoulder, two smaller bows on each side folded from the fabric itself.

Denki couldn't keep his eyes off of you as a bright smile plastered across your face. You were clearly enjoying yourself and he could only imagine until now how much he had missed you, but seeing you after all these years made him feel like he was in high-school all over again.

"Now I'm falling asleep and she's calling a cab, while he's having a smoke and she's taking a drag. Now they're going to bed and my stomach is sick and it's all in my head, but she's touching his chest now. He takes off her dress now, Let me go!!!!"

Mina let out a loud whistle for you, your shining (e/c) eyes looking over to the noise to see your classmates cheering you on. But most importantly, standing front and center with a smile plastered on his face was your high-school sweetheart.

"'Cause I just can't look, it's killing me!
And taking control....." You pulled out the dramatics as you whipped your hair, dancing around the stage as you sang your heart out and tapping your heel vigorously to the beat.

"Jealousy, turning saints into the sea!
Swimming through sick lullabies!
Choking on your alibi! But it's just the price I pay! Destiny is calling me!
Open up my eager eyes! 'Cause I'm Mr. Brightside!"

The guitar solo played as you had a brief moment of eye cintact with Denki who was slowly walking closer to the stage.

"I never......I never.........I neveeeeeerrr
!!!!!!! I neveeeeeerrr!!!!!!!!!!!"

Wuth a final headbang, the song ended, everyone cheering for you as you noticed Denki standing off to the side by the steps to the stage. Your cheeks flushed at his appearance. Quickly, you bowed and then handed the mic to the DJ again as the dance portion of the event started.

Walking off the stage, you were tackled down by Mina who was screaming enthusiastically. Denki took a step back as more and more of his classmates gathered to greet you again.

I guess it has been 10 years for the rest of them too.

He sighed, walking to the side of the room and taking a seat in a lone chair.

"I missed you so much you bitch! Where have you been!" Mina yelled, shaking you back and fourth. "God, where haven't I been would be the better question." Mina looked you over as a smile came to your face, "You aged like a fine wine!" She complimented.

"I'm not that old." You defended, completely aware that your partying childhood days were slipping away. "How often are you here a year anyway?" Sero questioned.

"Yeah, everytime I see something about you visiting you have already left!" Momo chimed in, your face sinking. "I'm only here about two or three days a year. Then they drag me away again."

Mina scowled, "Why don't you just leave!" She complained. But you just shook your head, "I already don't make much as is, if I quit and don't have something better I don't have anything to fall back on. Plus my father owed an outstanding debt to them....it's complicated."

With a pout, Mina noticed a sulking Denki at the side of the room. He was looking at things on his phone while his chin rested in his palm. "Ehem..." Mina said to gain your attention before she nodded her head over to Denki.

Your cheeks turned pink, "I don't know if I should." You whsipered, Mina smacking you on the back of the head. "Ow!"

"Go talk to him! He was just as excited as us to see you!"

With a small sigh, you slowly walked toward him, taking a seat in the chair across from him. His electric eyes immediately darted up to you as he turned off his phone. You now had his undivided attention.

"....."

You weren't quite sure what to say to him. It had been so long, everything that you would normally say evaded you. "You look..." Denki started. Your heart quickly thumping as you looked to him. "...uhm, good."

"Thanks." You softly said, slight dissapointment coming over you at his seemingly forced interaction. You watched as your friends danced, but your mind was way to occupied to even think about dancing.

As the silence lingered, sitting face to face seemed to make you realize just how long it had been. Neither of you wanted to overstep boundaries or say something on a whim. But you couldn't deny the fuzzy feeling you got from just being around him again.

"How have you been?" You asked. Watching his eyes look over you, seeming to stop at your lips for a moment before he flushed and looked away. "Could be better I guess....you?"

Shrugging, you scooted the chair a bit closer to him so you weren't projecting so much over the music. "Could be a lot better." You rubbed your face in your palms, dreading having to leave again.

"The last time I was in here was three years ago. We celebrated All Mights birthday."

You looked over at Denki who had a small smile on his face that you could barley see before it faded away. "I wish you would have been there." He sighed.

Rubbing your arms, feeling the undeniable tense mood shrouding the air. You didn't respond, what could you say? You were never sent an invatation, even if you were you probably moved places by the time it would have reached you.

"I'm sorry for what I said earlier." Denki started, your head turning toward him just a bit. "Sorry? What are you sorry for?"

Nervously rubbing the back of his neck with a sheepish smile, Denki looked over to you again. "I meant to say you looked beautiful...not just good." His signature dorky smile flashed in your direction.

Feeling your body warm and your stomach flutter, you nervously thanked him. "You look really good....handsome- too." Hearing people cheer as the next song came on, Denki stood up and offered you his hand.

"Want to go somewhere not as loud?"

Taking it as he helped you up, you gave him all the response he needed in a smile. Reluctantly dropping your hand, he led you out of the gym as you both began to stroll around campus.

Denki cracked his weird jokes as a laugh emerged from you. It felt like nothing had ever changed, except the fact that Denki kept his hands in his pockets in order to avoid slipping up.

"Did you hear about that automobile body shop that just opened?" He stated out of the blue, your eyebrows furrowing in confusion. "Uhmm..no?" You replied, seeing a shit eating grin grow on his face.

"Well it comes highly wreck-a-mended."

"Oh that was fucking awful." You replied, stopping in your tracks and letting out a dissapointed chuckle as Denki cracked himself up. "What sound does a T-Rex make when he sleeps?"

Realizing he was in the mood for horrible puns, you played along as you continued to walk. "I don't know Denki, what sound?"

"A dino-SNORE! Get it!" He elbowed you in the side, watching as you began to chuckle.

Shit, I missed making her laugh.

"I hate how funerals are always at 9 a.m....." You began, Denki listening as he saw a similar grin line your lips. "I’m not really a mourning person." With a laugh, Denki said another one.

"Someone stole my toilet and the police have nothing to go on." Your face cringed. "Ew!!" You smacked his arm as he snorted. "Fine, how's this one...Having sex in an elevator is wrong on so many levels."

His eyes lit up as he wiggled his brows, "Gettin steamy with the jokes (Y/n)?" Giggling at his display, you continued back and fourth walkimg with each other around the school for an hour at least.

Checking your phone, you realized it was 8:30. "Oh....I uhm, I have to go check into my hotel." Denkis light-hearted demanor fell silent. "Will I see you again before you...." He couldn't seem to make out the words, you nodded. "Hopefully. It was good to see you again."

With golden eyes, he looked at you, you both standing there for a moment before engaging in a rather awkward hug. Patting his back, you pulled away and waved to him, leaving to find a taxi.

Denki ran his hands through his hair and sat down on the grass. He began to pick at the blades as he watched you walk away, fearing he wouldn't get a chance to see you ever again.

"What do you mean you mischeduled?" You complained, trying your best to stay calm. "We are sorry mam but it seems as if we put you down for the wrong month." With a sigh, you grabbed your singular backpack and thanked them for their time and walked out the hotel.

Standing outside, you groaned as your feet ached. "Stupid heels!" You said, taking them off and setting them down by your bag as you leaned against the wall. Pulling out your phone, you tried to find a motel to stay at, all of them being farther away than you would like or just sketchy in general.

Denki drove down the road, playing music as he was headed home, trying to keep his mind off of you. He took the backroads to avoid traffic, his car being the only one on the street as he stopped at the light.

Looking out his window, he did a double take as he saw you outside sitting on the ground scrolling through your phone.

Honking his horn, you flipped him off, thinking it was some random douche trying to be gross. "What was that for!?" Denki yelled to you, your eyes darting up and seeing him slightly leaning out the window.

"What are you doing here?" You asked him, his car engine being rather loud. "Going home! Why are you on the floor outside?"

"I like the ground. It's comfortable." You replied sarcastically, both of you smiling at eachother before you stood and walked to the edge of the side walk. He was in the lane farthest from you, so you were still a good distance away.

"There was a mix up with the hotel. I'm trying to find somewhere close to stay."

"What?!" Denki said, the engine of his car being obnoxious. "Screw this." He said, putting his car in park before stepping out and walking over toward you. "Denki you just left your car on!" You warned, he shrugged.

"So, why are you sitting outside. On the ground. Without shoes. A singular bag. And all lonsome?"

Cracking a smile as your hands found your hips, you replied. "Well, there was a mix up with the hotel so I am trying to find a place to stay. My feet hurt. I pack light. And I didn't have any company."

"You do now." Denki said, before nudging his head toward his car. "Come on, you can sleep at my place." Your cheeks flushed pink, "No, thats really okay. I am sure I can find something."

"There is a storm coming though." Denki said, looking up at the sky. You followed suit, seeing how clear it was and looking back down at him with a confused glance. "There is no stor-"

CRACK

"AH!" You screamed, a loud smack of thunder roaring through the air. "Denki!" You yelled, punching him in the shoulder as he laughed. "Ow! Ow! Ow! I'm sorry!" You huffed, and grabbed your bag and your shoes, walking to his car.

"Come on loser. Let's go." You joked, Denki grinning ear to ear as he helped you in the car and drove you to his place.

Once you got there, he opened his door and presented you to his apartment. "Tada!" He cheered. You couldn't help but smile at his decor that had not changed since highschool.

Nirvana, Bon Jovi, The Sex Pistols, Metallica, and ACDC as well as a multitude of other bands memorabilia littered his walls. "Please tell me you still have their records." You looked over to him as he shut the door, sliding off his suit jacket.

He rolled up his sleeves, your heart pounding as you saw his forearm muscles, the look being very attractive. He walked over to a shelf and pulled down a box, setting it on the table as you walked over to it.

Opening it, you smiled at the records that you both always used to listened to. "Wanna put one on?" He asked, your eyes jumping to him as a sudden thought crossed your mind. "Wouldn't your girlfriend find this....odd."

His eyes widened, "Who said I had a girlfriend?" Denkis voice was more snappy then he meant it to be, watching your reaction as you nervously looked around the room. "Did you just get new furniture?"

Changing the topic, you looked around the disaster of a living room. "Yeah....haven't had a chance to fix it yet."

"....do you want to?" You questioned, a small grin lining your lips as you looked up to him. "I'd like that." You quickly excused yourself to go change and ran into the spare bathroom. Denki chuckled and did the same, walking into his room and slipping on some sweatpants.

He walked into the bathroom to put more deoderant on and accidentally knocked it off, and of course, it made a noise that sounded like an avalanche.

"Denki? Are you okay-!!!! I'M SO SORRY!" You screeched. He was topless, your mind fuzzy as you slapped your hands over your eyes and ran out of the room. Denki quickly picked up the deoderant and put some on before going out to the living room.

You sat nervously in a chair, your face visibly red as you couldn't get the picture out of your mind.

Not that it's a bad image....

"Sorry about that." Denki said, your eyes looking over to him as he still didn't have a shirt on. He slipped it over his head, breifly seeing your eyes lock onto his muscles as they moved with his body.

"I-its okay. Sorry I ran in on you." Denki walked over to the records and put one on. He walked back over to you as it stared and helped you up before he looked you over in your shorts and t-shirt.

"Don't apologize. It's fine."

Taking a breath, you looked at the room around you. "Well then, shall we?"

____________________

You were finishing up on moving the few final things when you came across a slightly open box. Moving the flaps, you saw a bunch of nerf guns, a childlike smile growing on your face as you loaded two up.

"Denki!" You called, hearing his footsteps grow closer. "What's u-OW!" He said, getting his straight in the chest with a nerf bullet. Laughing, you tossed him the other one. "Come on thunder boy..."

"IT'S NERF OR NOTHING!" He screamed, beginning the chase as you both laughed. You ducked behind couches and chairs, even using crawl spaces under the table as you both shot at eachother.

Your feet trampled around the apartment, laughs echoing as one of his bullets ricocheted off the wall and smacked him in the face. Covering your mouth, you let out a loud laugh.

"You okay there hot stuff?"

Denki malfunctioned at the nickname, giving a thumbs up to you before falling backward. "Denki?!" You panicked, setting down the gun and going over to him, helping him to sit up.

You looked over his head, making sure the straight fall down didn't injure him. "Why did you do that for?" You questioned with a small chuckle. "Nickname..." He stuttered out. "Hot stuff...."

You turned pink, not even realizing you had said it as his face came back to normal. You were both sat on the floor face to face as you stared at eachother.

You wanted to kiss him, but you were leaving soon, wouldn't that just be stringing him along? Denki didn't seem to care however as he slowly leaned in, pressing a small kiss on your neck and then your cheek.

Your breathing hitched, you missed his touch so badly.

His yellow eyes looked into yours as he was centimeters away from you.

*knock knock knock*

You both pulled away from a pounding at the door. Huffing as you stood and walked away, Denki got up and answered it, getting a complaint from the downstairs neighbor as it was:

'10 at night and he needs to be more respectful.'

With an apology, Denki closed the door and walked to where you were sitting on the couch. Ploping down next to you, he looked over your face. "Wanna play 20 questions?"

With a small nod and smile the game began, mostly small nonsensical questions until the game continued on.

"If you could be any kitchen appliance, what would you be?" His question rang into the air as you both sat facing eachother with small smiles on your faces. "Hmmmm...." You tapped your chin, "Frying pan." You answered confidently.

He cocked one of his brows up as he leaned a bit forward. "Really? Why a frying pan?" You crossed your arms. "Have you never seen Tangled? Those things are badass!" Denki laughed at your comment, scooting a bit closer to you on the couch.

Looking into his yellow eyes, you swallowed and shifted yourself a bit closer to him as well. "What was your favorite high school memory?" You asked, eyes scanning his face as he looked to him palms, nervously ringing them as he lowered his head.

Every minute I spent with you...

He thought, but that isn't what came out. Instead, he went for something less direct, "When we went on the kayaking school trip." He answered.

"Mm..." You nodded, wanting to ask more but deciding against it. The air was thick, the silence grew longer as you played with the hem of your shirt. "It's your turn to ask." You muttered, his face heating up at the small sound of your voice.

He was entranced by you, you were still stunning in every single way. The smile that you had always given him was still there and even from the small hug you two exchanged at the reunion, everything about you was still remarkable.

Even just these past few hours, despite the tension, was the happiest Denki had felt in years. You meant the world to him and all he wanted to do was see you happy.

"Yeah....uh, question...."

Your eyes locked, the same look in your eyes as years ago when you left. The sadness welled up inside him again and all he wanted to do was kiss you and beg you to stay with him.

But instead, all he did was slightly move his hand so your fingers rubbed against each others. The contact gave him chills as your cheeks turned pink. "What is your biggest regret?" Denki asked, rubbing his digits across yours slowly.

The room was eerily silent as you slipped your fingers into his, feeling his hand flex as he so desperatley wanted to hold it. Your warm skin against Denkis burned like fire, the room growing hotter each second.

"Leaving the people I cared about behind." You ran your thumb across Denki's palm, feeling the scabs and marks that he had gotten over the years. Sucking in a deep breath, you looked deep into his eyes.

"Do you miss anything about me?"

His mouth went dry.

Just tell her, say it! But what about her boyfriend??? She has clearly already moved on. Would it matter even if I did?

"Yeah. Sure."

Your heart cracked at his simple and quick retort. Lowering your head in emberassment, you pulled your hands away as Denki internally panicked. "Uh-, I'm gonna get dinner ready to serve!" He said, bolting into the kitchen, leaving you sitting on the couch.

Why are you so fucking STUPID?!?

He yelled at himself, slamming his head on the cabinet before opening it and grabbing bowls for your food. "Such a fucking idiot. You made her upset! Then what did you do? You ran off into the kitchen?! For fucks sake...."

Denki breated himself in a whisper as he put the food in the bowls and collected himself for a moment.

Apologize for it! Say you were just nervous and give her a real answer!

Denki combed his fingers through his hair nervously before bringing out the food, seeing you had made your way to the dining room and sat yourself in a chair.

Your face was slightly wet, his heart sinking as he realized he had actually made you cry. Slowly, he set the food in front of you and took as seat next to you.

Before Denki could say anything however, you began to talk. "So why did you get all defensive when I asked about a girlfriend?"

Coughing, Denki looked at you as you picked at the food. "I just... I don't have one." He responded simply.

Did you think he actually had a girfriend??? Speaking of....

"Aren't you dating someone?" Denki asked, your eyes looking over to him as he had a slight scowl plastered on his face. The tinge of jealousy wracked his body and mind, the thought of you being with someone else making his blood boil.

Despite everything that had just happened, you couldn't help but chuckle. You knew Denki was jealous, you knew it when you saw it considering he was like an open book.

His eyes trailed your figure as his brows scrunched trying to figure out what was funny. "I was dating someone a while back." You started, taking a bite of food and hearing him huff in annoyance.

"We aren't together anymore...it was a stupid relationship. The media pressured it more than anything. He was a good friend, but a horrible boyfriend." Your voice trailed off as you took another bite, Denki feeling the shift in your attitude.

"What happened?" He questioned, seeing you stop and stare at the bowl, tapping your finger lightly on the table. "He uhm...used me for fame and other things." Denki felt rage grow through his body.

Feeling him tense, you put a hand on his, watching his cheeks turn pink at the contact. "He didn't get the chance to do anything like that. I left before it got there." You assured, Denki still enraged by the thought of someone even thinking of using you for that.

"Then what did he do?" The boy sneered, watching you take another bite and then swallow. "Uhmm...kissing, t-touching...nothing down there though. He tried it and I kicked him in the balls and left."

You assured, running your fingers up and down his arm. The small gestures you were making were the only things stopping the body from finding that douche and sending 13,000 volts through his body.

Denki began to scarf down his food, a small smile coming to his face as his eyebrows were furrowed together. You had to admit it, he was cute when he was mad.

"You're funny when your jealous." You added, a smile coming to your lips as you took a bite, Denki shifting to face you urgently. "I-I AM NOT JEALOUS!!" He defended. "Mmmhmm, sure...." You smirked, his face heating up as you looked to him.

"I-I just...." Denki sighed, gaining the confidence to take both your hands in his.

Holy crap she's still so soft!

He thought, getting distracted for a moment and then being returned by your flushed face. "(Y/n), you just deserve someone who will respect you...the guy who wins your heart will be so-...so lucky." Forcing a small smile, he looked up to you.

You pulled one hand away and placed it on his cheek, his head leaning into your touch as your hand ran into his hair. "Come here you big dork." Your heart swelled as you gave him a hug, a real hug.

Denki stood with you as he wrapped his arms around your back, taking in your scent as he buried his head in your neck. Your hands caressed his back before trailing up to his hair and playing with the long soft strands.

"(Y/n), did you ever picture our future?" Denki asked in a whisper, the urge to kiss your skin becoming stronger the longer you held him. You smiled into him, giving a small nod.

"I'll be honest...I planned a whole wedding and everything." It was embarassing to admit, when you were young you didn't want to scare him off and now...well, you were in this predicament.

Though you couldn't see it, a smile grew onto his face. "If I would have known that I would have propsed to you as a third year." He said, a chuckle escaping him afterward before he sighed, gripping you tighter into him as he realized just how much he missed this.

"If it would have been before I signed my contract, I would have said yes."

Denki felt himself melt in your arms, his eyes filling with tears once again as he tried to calm his breathing. A contract? So thats why you couldn't back out of the firm in the beginning.

Feeling your body shiver, he took notice of how cold it had gotten in the room. "Do you want to go change into something warmer?" He asked, slightly pulling away as his face was inches away from yours. "Probably...actually, do you mind if I just borrow a jacket? I didn't bring one."

"Of course. Take anything you need."

Like you?

You shook off your thought, thanking him before you went to change and he cleaned up the dishes. "God its already 12?" He muttered, looking at the clock.

"Is it okay if I wear this one?"

Denki looked toward you, face turning beet red as you stood there in shorts and his favorite sweater that you had got him in high-school. In all honesty, you sniffed each jacket and decided this one smelt the most like him.

"You look....you look very nice. Beautiful! I mean,...damn, why can't I speak." He rubbed the back of his neck and let his hair fall over his face to hide his embarassment. You walked over to him with a yawn and gave him a smile.

Denki took notice of your fuzzy socks as your eyes began to flutter. "Are you tired?" He questioned, watching as you rubbed your eyes. "I'll take that as a yes. Come with me." The boy smiled, taking your hand and leading you into his room.

It just wouldn't be right to force her to sleep on the couch!

He reasoned in his mind as you looked up at him. "Denki, I can take the couch. It is really okay-"

"No! I will not let your back experience the horrors of that couch...I really should by a new one." He trailed off, returning his eyes to you before flushing red and running over to his nightstand and shoving something into a drawer.

You raised an eyebrow as he turned around. He had a goofy grin plastered on his face as his eyes trailed over you. You sat on his bed, feeling the squishy matress as you flopped down, eyes almost closing permanently as your jet lag caught up with you.

"Well I'll be in the other room if you need anything." Denki said, heading toward the door. "Denki!" You called, his figure turning around as you dangled your feet off the edge. "Thank you for letting me come over."

"I would do anything for you." He replied, silence filling the air as you stared at eachother before he looked to the ground. "Anyway...goodnight (Y/n). Sleep well."

He closed the door, both of you sighing in unison once the other was out of ear shot.

You tucked your knees to your chest as you heard his footsteps walk away. Curiously, you looked over to the night stand and crawled to it and slid open the drawer. There were wrappers, a few damaged headphone chords and in the very back there was a frame and a small wallet.

You took out the frame, seeing the picture inside and flushing. "Denki..." You whispered, your heart fluttering as you recalled the moment fondly. Setting the picture on the stand, you looked to the door before quietly snapping open the wallet.

Folded papers practically exploded out of it as you quickly listened for footsteps, yet none came. Swiftly picking up the papers, you gathered them all on the bed before looking at one that laid open on the floor.

Scanning over it, you realized it was a note you had written to him when you were younger. Grabbing another, it was the same. Your hand writing was very distinctive as it was another note.

Quickly checking them, you realized that they were all notes you had written to him. Each dated back to the  exact day you had given it to him. The seams looked worn, as if he frequently folded them open and closed to read them.

Your face warmed, heart swelling with emotion as you picked up another note, but this time it was different. It was his writing and it was from 5 years ago.

'Dear (Y/n),

It has been 5 years now and I am finally getting the courage to write to you again without breaking down in tears. I really miss you...I was thinking about how today would have been our 8 year anniversary, it honestly made me sad.

I know you had your reasons for leaving, but I still miss you everyday. I miss doing all the weird things we used to do and how you used to smile at me....I would give up everything I have to see it one more time.

Anyway, I don't really know what I am hoping to gain from this because the one thing I want is you. I miss you and I love you...if you ever get this letter, I would like to hear from you, even if it is just a small hello.

I will always love you,

       -Forever yours, Denki Kaminari.'

Your heart twisted as tears streamed down your face. You picked up more notes in a similar pile seeing that he had written you one for every three months in the past year.

Each was marked with a yellow label that read: ' RETURN TO SENDER, NOT DELIVERABLE AS ADDRESSED, UNABLE TO FORWARD.'

All twenty letters he had written to you had been returned to him. All the addresses he had written were correct, but by the time they got to you, you had already been stationed somewhere else.

You sank down onto the floor, muffling your cries with your hand as you read through them one by one. Every letter was signed the same, but as you read them, you could tell that he was losing hope.

Holding the paper to your chest as you quietly sobbed, your heart ached for Denki. If you would had known he was trying so desperatley to contact you. That he was going out of his way to get your addresses and sending letters to you even after the previous ones had all been returned...

Folding the papers and putting them away, you stood from the ground and cracked open the door. "Denki?" You whispered, getting no reply. Slowly stepping out and wandering into the living room, you found Denki snoring loudly, sound asleep on the couch.

He had drool coming out of the corner of his mouth, the corner of your lips turning up as you squatted beside his face and wiped it off of him. Softly, you pressed a sweet kiss to his cheek his body twitching slightly as he adjusted.

"Mmngh...(Y/n)...." Denki breathed in his sleep. With a soft giggle, you wiped your still wet eyes once again and put your hand on his arm. Before you could do anything, Denki unconsiously yanked you over him and wrapped his arms around you.

You were squished between him and back of the couch, his hand holding your back as he pressed you into him. One of your arms pressed against his chest as the other found its way under his arm to rest on his back.

Denki let his legs intertwine with yours, tangling you in his embrace even further. He nuzzled his nose on the top of your head, placing a small kiss there as your heart felt like is was going a million miles an hour.

You slowly closed your eyes, feeling his steady heartbeat as it put you fast to sleep.

The next morning, Denki grumbled as his chest felt heavy. His eyes were sealed shut until he heard a soft noise.

"Mm, Ki....~"

Your soft whisper rang through his ears, Denki waking up to see you on top of him, his hand tangled in your hair as his other held your hand.

"Uuhhhh-...uhmmm!" He had no idea what to do. You looked so peaceful, when did you move from the bed? Denki fell asleep like a rock last night simply because he knew you were close by.

NOT THIS CLOSE THOUGH!

Do I move? I don't want to wake her up, she looks so comfortable!....and cute.

As his thoughts finished, Denki felt you move, his arm holding you in place so you didn't roll off of him. Streching your legs, your eyes fluttered open, memories last night emerging in your brain and....wait.

You took in your surroundings, seeing that you had in fact fallen asleep wirh Denki and you were now laying on top of him. "O-oh my god!" You sqeaked in embarassment as you shot up.

As you sat up in his lap, you accidentally pinched a nerve in Denkis leg, his upper body lunging up as you both smacked foreheads. Holding your head, you whined, despite all the training, that shit still hurts.

Denki quickly took in what happened, disregarding his own pain and moving to check on you. But as he did, he failed to notice how close to the edge he was of the couch, his body slipping off and pulling you down with him with a small yelp.

Looking up, you realized Denki was now on top of you as he lifted himself to hover over you. His muscular arms encaged your figure as you stared up at him, his door to the apartment opening with a *click*.

Your eyes both shot toward the sound as Sero stepped in and noticed your rather....unordinary position. With a smirk and a hand on his hip, he looked at you both. "It's only 8! You guys are starting early I see."

Denkis face flushed red, his head resting on your shoulder as you avoided Seros gaze. No matter what you told him, the truth or a lie, there wasn't anyway this position wouldn't have been misleading.

Your face turned red to match as you felt a soft kiss on your neck from Denki as he slowly sucked in a breath.

"I came by because a few of us are going to go try on rich people clothes we can't afford."

A smile came to your face as you tried your best to play off Denkis small kisses, "We used to do that a lot as second years!" You recalled, Sero nodding with a grin. "Exactly! In celebration of you being here, lets live a little!"

Denki moved his face out a bit from your shoulder, seeing the smile plastered on your face. "Can we go Denki?" You questioned, Sero excusing himself while he gave you both room to get ready.

"Of course we can." He said softly, biting at one spot on your neck with a gentle nibble as your grabbed his shoulders. "Ki....-" You whispered, feeling him kiss over the mark before he pulled away.

Denkis demeanor did a 180 as he was now back to his cheery and dorky self. You soft spoken call to him made his face light up like a christmas tree. "Let's get changed."

"Are they going to yell at us?" You questioned, holding Minas hand as she swung your arms back and fourth. She was clearly happy to have her best friend back.

"Psshhhh! They can try!" Mina cheered, Sero shaking his head as you approached the store. "Glare? Yes. Yell? No."

"Yeah, they have a prestigious reputation to uphold." Denki impersonated a posh accent as he winked at you. "Come on!" Mina said, dragging you inside, eyes immediatley falling on you as you entered the building.

It was three stories tall, gold but tacky accents everywhere as you realized just how gross the 'rich' style is. "Dude, these pants are $1,500 dollars." Sero groaned, looking over a pair of pants that were literally just fucking jeans.

"How can they charge that much? It should be illegal." Denki said in astonishment, looking at the price tag. "I have an idea!" Mina cheered, sneakily looking in between you and Denki.

"We should all pick outfits for eachother to try on! Sero will pick mine, I will pick (Y/n)'s, (Y/n) can pick Denki's, and Denki will pick Sero's!"

You realized what Mina was doing, but before you say anything, the boys agreed and Mina ran off. "She is going to make me wear something that barley has any skin covered...." You groaned.

Looking over at Denki who was stood there gazing at you for a moment, you smiled before walking over to the suits. "Mind if I join?" Denki inquired, sifting through the suits with you. "You can't peek though." You said, looking up at him as he laughed.

"Don't worry. I won't look at the suit."

Silence fell between you both as you tried to focus on anything other than his stare. Carefully flicking your hair out of the way, he noticed the mark on your neck from earlier. "Does it hurt?" He asked, your head shaking.

"Thats good."

It was comfortable as you two kept looking. Your eyes being drawn to the perfect suit, the tackiest thing in the whole damn store.

I have my outfit.

After everyone else had finished, Sero was the first up as Denki ended up picking a dress and heels for him. The three of you cracked up at the sight of him shuffling out of the room, judgemental eyes landing on all of you from a distance.

"Good choice Denki!" Mina cheered, giving him a high five. Mina went next, the pantsuit that was chosen was almost perfect for her as he rocked it like a runway. You cheered for her as Denki went up next.

He came out in what looked to be a hideous suit, yet he flaunted it like he was infront of a crowd. He pretened to slick his hair back as he did a spin, the coat spinning before he did the tug on the edges to straighten it out.

Curse him for looking so good!

Denki sent you a wink, before going to get undressed, your stomach dropping as you felt minas smirk from beside you. "COME ON (Y/N)!" She pushed you up.

You walked into the dressing room and saw the outfit. Your face heated up as you began to put it on.

Outside, the three chatted until you stepped out. Denkis heart almost bursting out of his chest as he looked at you. The dress was short and black, it was sleeveless as the fabric came up to wrap around your neck.

There were designs up the sides that were made in a thin lace, they trailed up to your stomach as they twisted into bows at the bottom. You desperatley looked around the room and tried to avoid Denki's stare.

"Damn (Y/n), you look good!" Sero complimented, earning a huff from the yellow haired male beside him. Mina nudged Denki, "No time to be jealous, she is looking at you." Denki looked up, seeing you put on your most confident face as you showed of the dress.

Your heart went a million miles per minute as Denki looked you up and down. Embarassed, you shrunk into yourself and went into the changing room, sitting on a poof as you regained yourself.

"Hey..." You heard his voice say from outside the curtain. "You looked really good....I mean, you always do but-"

You opened the curtain and pulled him in, quickly closing it again as you gave him a tight hug. "Thank you." You stammered, feeling one of his hands rest on your hips as the other lifted your chin so he could place a firm kiss on your lips.

You were shocked, the sudden feeling of him after so long made your body shiver. He pulled away realizing you hadn't moved. "(Y/n)?"

"Do it again...please." You replied rather quickly.

He gave you a soft smile, pressing another kiss on your soft lips, feeling your hands as they tangled in his shirt. "I missed you so much." You breathed, pulling you back in again as you held him close.

"I missed you too Denki."

His lips moved against your neck, pressing soft kisses on your skin before jumping to your exposed shoulders. "I have something planned for us today." Denki said, your heart fluttering as you looked at him.

"What would that be?"

"You'll see. I just need to buy something really quick."

___________________

You sat at the small pottery table with a distraught Denki. His mind in a bunch as the small children screamed around him. "I didn't realize there was a kids birthday party....we always came here so I thought it would be nice."

You rubbed his back with a smile, you had to admit, the situation was pretty funny. He had planned this whole thing only to find out it was in the middle of a birthday party.

"YOU'RE CHARGEBOLT!" A few of the kids squealed, attracting his attention.  You chuckled as they ran up to him and started rambling about how they wanted to be heros too, one of the boys noticing you and letting out a scream of delight.

"NO WAY! YOU'RE (H/N)!"

You were just as shocked as they were. Never being in Japan, you thought that your popularity wouldn't be prominent, guess you were wrong. A few more kids joined, rattling off questions to you like a quick time event as you both kept smiles on your faces.

Denki was cracking jokes to them, making them laugh as you smiled over at him. "Kids! Come on now, leave them be! They need a break every once and a while too." One of the parents said, the kids groaning as they trudged away.

"So sorry about that." She said, walking over to you. "It's not a problem, they are just excited. I was the same way." The woman sent you a thankful smile. "I will leave you to it then, by the way, you make a very nice couple."

Denki grabbed your hand and interlocked your fingers. "Thank you." You said, Denki looking toward you as the woman left. "What are we?" Denki asked, a serious demeanor falling over him.

"I want to be with you Denki...there is just so much bad shit that will happen if I stay. I don't want to put you through that."

"Then just let me at least say you're mine. I want us to work, even if you're gone...I'm not going to be with anyone else." With a smile, you nodded. "Okay...I'd like that."

He pressed a sweet kiss on your lips, giddiness overtaking him as you closed your eyes. "I'm going to make you the best clay bowl you have ever seen." He said, enticing a laugh out of you. "You better."

___________________

You laughed as Denki cracked another stupid joke as he led you into his apartment. The smell of his musk greeting you once again as you took off your shoes and plopped down on the couch with a tired yawn.

He went into his room and changed his clothes, throwing one of his shirts at you for you to wear.

"Today was amazing, thank you Denki."

Shooting you a handsome smile, he went to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of wine and two glasses while you changed. "I think we need to celebrate just a bit more." He took your hand and guided you out to his balcony.

"What are we celebrating exactically?" You questioned, raising a brow. "You. Us." He stated, walkimg back inside and grabbing a blanket and pillows."What is there to celebrate about me?" You asked, watching as he set all of the items down and the helped you sit.

"You should always be celebrated. You're pretty cool." He complimented, loving the sound of your laugh as you replied. "You're pretty cool too spark plug."

He poured you some wine, even though you weren't much of a fan, you decided to just go along. After pouring himself some, he took a sip and looked over at you.

You were stunning, even as you sat there in baggy clothes. He sipped on his wine, conversing with you lightly as he finished off the glass and poured himself another.

About an hour passed, your eyes trailed to the stars, the light reflecting in your eyes as you watched them twinkle. Quietly, Denki scooted closer to you as he studied your face. Looking down, he slowly touched your fingers with his own, attracting your attention.

Your eyes stared at your lap for a moment, letting your fingers completley intertwine before you trailed your eyes up his arm and to his face. His cheeks were pink as he looked at the sky.

He was slightly intoxicated from the amount of wine he had drank, already on his third or fourth refill.

You moved closer, sitting right beside him and resting your head on his shoulder. Unsure if that was comfortable for him, you almost pulled away to be stopped by his arm wrapping around you and keeping you in place.

Denki drank his wine again, almost finishing the glass as he chugged it nervously. You put your hand on the top and slowly lowered it down, cutting him off.

Denki was drinking more than he usually did. Why? Probably to distract himself from the thought of you leaving again. The idea made him sad, his eyes looking down at you. You were relaxed as you leaned against him, bodies warm and comforting.

"(Y/n)..." Denki managed to sqeak out, your head raising as you looked over to him. "You're so p-pretty." He stammered, voice suprisingly gentle as he brought a hand up to cup your cheek.

Turning pink, you gave him a smile. You knew he was a little bit out of it at the moment and probably wasn't fully aware of what he was saying or doing. But despite all of that, in a quick moment his lips connected with yours.

You couldn't pull away, you missed this, you missed him. Much like before Denki hummed against your soft lips, the sensation of you kissing him back making him even more drunk than he already was.

"I love you." He muttered before pushing himself back into the kiss, your hands wrapping around his neck as you held him closer. "I love you too Denki..." You whimpered, knowing the inevitable fate of tomorrow morning.

"I want to be with you like last night. Let me hold you...please." Denki begged, pulling away from the kiss and holding your body to him. "Of course."

You helped him stand, bringing in the glasses and the empty bottle as Denki picked up the blankets and pillows. You took his hand and led him to the bed, laying down wifh him next to you as he kissed you needily.

"I will always love you (Y/n)."

You puffed air out your nose, his hands holding your tight as he pulled away and rested his chin on your head. "I will always love you too sparky."

The feeling of his smile was felt on your head as he placed a soft kiss there. In his warm embrace once again, you closed your eyes and drifted off to sleep.

You woke up, your alarm pounding in your ears as your heart immediately sank. Looking over, you realized Denki was already sitting up and watching over you.

"How long have you been awake?" You asked, moving some hair out of his face as he leaned down to plant a kiss on your head. "I never really slept..." He admitted, pulling back to look into your eyes.

The bags were visible as you saw him up close. The poor boy had stayed up all night just holding you and taking you all in. Against your better judgement, you placed a loving kiss on his lips. Denki moved slightly to adjust the angle as you sat up more in the bed.

"I have to go Denki..." You murmured, remembering your whole paycheck and livelyhood were relying on this stupid job. "No...just a bit longer." He pleaded, pressing you down into the bed with another drawn out kiss.

You gripped onto his shirt and pulled him into you, relishing in his sweet touch as his hands caressed your sides. "I can't hear you say goodbye again. What if you don't come back?" He broke down, tears falling onto your skin as he cried into you.

"Denki I will always come back. Yesterday I told you I wanted to be with you, I meant it." He gripped onto you, tears filling his eyes.

Your hearts were both shattering. Everything was reverting back to the way it was for 10 years. It was like some cruel joke on the both of you.

"I will just say I'll see you later." You whispered to him, holding him close to you as he continued to sob. You were so close to staying, to leaving everything else behind even if it meant you would be in financial trouble.

But then Denki spoke: "If you are going to leave then go..."

Your eyes widened, his tone completley changing as he sat up and wiped his eyes. "Denki I don't have a choice! I won't be able to afford the cost of living on my own without this job! Starting off in a new place doesn't pay nearly as much!" You tried to explain.

"It doesn't matter! Just leave!" Denki yelled, walking into his bathroom and slamming the door shut. Tears came to your eyes as you sat on the bed,

Was this really how it ended?

Standing up, you didn't even bother to change as you threw your stuff into a bag and hauled ass out of his apartment and forcibly closing the door behind you.

Everything he had said yesterday meant nothing then? Tears welled in your eyes as you marched down the street.

Once Denki heard the door shut, his mind fell blank. What did I just do? He felt woozy, dizzy almost as he sat down. The drinks and adrenaline still holding him in their grip as he closed his eyes.

Denki woke up to a banging on the door. Quickly realizing he had been out for at least an hour, he opened the bathroom door, hearing nothing but silence. He was petrified. He just told the love of his life to leave and slammed a door in her face?

He had quite literally just told you that he wanted to be with you and then procceded to kick you out of his house?!

The front door opened, Denki running out to see Sero and Mina with a confused look on their face as Denki had tears in his eyes. "Where is (Y/n)? We wanted to say goodbye..." Mina spoke, slowly realizing you were already gone.

Based on Denki, it wasn't a pleasant farewell. "I yelled at her. I told her to leave...I couldn't take it- I just-...I...." Denki leaned against the wall and slowly slid down, holding himself as Sero and Mina walked over to him.

"Why are you sitting on the floor crying!? Go apologize!" She urged, Denki looking up at her with a shocked expression. "She is already gone...." Sero pointed at the clock. "She has 30 minutes until her plane leaves."

Denki looked between his friends before grabbing something, shoving it in his pocket, and running out the door barefoot. "DENKI PUT ON SOME SHOES!" Mina yelled, Denki ignoring the calls as he raced to the airport.

The morning traffic would be worse then if he were to just book it there. "Aizawas training don't fail me now!" He said, bolting down the streets, shoving past people and jumping over cars as he ran through lights.

You were the only thought on his mind. His heart pounded, feet beginning to ache as he made it to the outside of the airport. Running in like a homeless person on crack, he looked at the sign realizing your flight was boarding.

He couldn't make it through TSA and still get to you in time. He looked outside...he had a plan.

You sat in the plane, trying not to cry as you furiously flipped through the safety manual for the 80th time in order to make sure that your mind was preoccupied.

Suddenly, you heard a voice from the front of the plane.

"We are sorry for the interruption, but the power to the whole airport had gone down meaning we can't take off. We are going to have to ask you all the exit the plane until it has returned in order to ensure your safety."

Grumbling along with everyone else, you grabbed the bag at your feet and stood up, waiting for people to get their bags before you headed out of the plane, back up the ramp, and into the airport.

Soon everyone was off the plane, even people from other flights were getting off as well, worried whispers coming from all around as everyone feared the worst.

As soon as you stepped a few feet away from the plane, the power flickered back on. A few bulbs cracking, but nothing major. Everyone cheered as the airport staff had to check and make sure everything was functioning again.

"We are all in the clear! If everyone could please start re-boarding the plane in an orderly fashion so we can begin our flight."

You sighed, adjusting the bag strap on your shoulder as you waited to board. As you were about to hand the lady your ticket, you heard a voice from down the large corridor.

"(Y/N)!! WAIT!" Denki said, your eyes widening as he fumbled over his own feet, clearly having overused his quirk. "Mam, we need your ticket please."

You waited for a moment, seeing Denki get closer and closer to you watching as he tripped over suitcases and frantically apologized to people. He was still in his sweats and Nirvana t-shirt from the night before.

"No! (Y/n) please wait!"

The person behind you scoffed, "God hurry up!" You glared back at them, their mouth shutting instantly as you looked back over to Denki. He tripped on a mans foot, face-planting into the carpet.

"Oh god!" You said, dropping your bag and rushing over to him. "Denki? Are you okay?" You helped him sit up, love filling his eyes as he looked at you with a soft expression.

"I'm sorry for yelling at you! I just didn't want you to leave me again, but I should have never yelled at you...."

He sucked in a breath as he stood up with you and held your face in his hands. "I love you (Y/n). I know I havs said it many, many times, but I always will. I want you to stay with me. I want you to stay here....I'll support you in anyway I can while you find another firm to work for. We can live together, we can stay together like we were meant to just please....please don't leave me again!"

His words were rushed, his breaths heavy as he looked to you, seeing your stunned face. "Denki, that is a large financial burden...I owe them a lot of money."

Shaking his head rapidly, he looked down to you. "I don't care. I'll eat ramen for the rest of my life if that means I can eat it with you!" His face was pink, a small smile crept to your face.

"I want you with me (Y/n). I always have...I also wanted to ask you something..." He got down on one knee, pulling out a small box from his pocket as your heart skipped a beat. It had the engraving on it from the fancy place you had tried clothes on at.

He opened it, reveling a beautiful, but simple ring. It was mostly silver except for a small engraved star the front instead of a clunk diamond.

"I'm horrible at romantic timing, I know. It does also look like some homeless guy is proposing to you right now. But I want you to marry me (Y/n). Stay with me."

Without a word, you pulled out your plane ticket, Denkis heart sinking for a moment before you tore it to shreds. "I would love to." You smiled, Denki smiling as he slipped the ring on your finger before you tackled him to the ground.

He peppered your face in kisses as people cheered for you, that was until TSA and a bunch of security guards came barreling down the hall.

Looking down at Denki, he gave a nervous smile. "What did you do?" You questioned, looking up at him as he took your hand. Grabbing your bag, Denki looked over at you.

"Just shut down power to the whole airport then ran past the TSA officers to get to you."

You smiled at him, "Looks like we have got some running to do." Giving you a large grin and a kiss on the cheek he replied.

"It looks like we do."
