A few minutes later i had an incoming call from Savannah. We sat and talked for hours about set and her coming to see me. I was more than excited that my best friend was coming to see me. She had some time off from being a dance instructor and was able to just drop everything and go. As we hung up, i smiled. This is going to be an amazing experience and i had a few tricks up my sleeve for Savannah.

boss man✋: what's up?? sophia avery: My best friend, Savannah, is coming into town tomorrow. She is an amazing dancer and i know we're still looking for another dancer for the show.
boss man✋: honestly, that's an amazing idea! bring her to the set when she gets here and we'll talk!!
sophia avery: thank you SO much Kenny!! ———— {next day} I woke up the next morning excited. I didn't have to be on set until 1, so I could go pick up Savannah from the airport. To say i was excited was an understatement. I was extactic. Though i just left a week ago, it felt like forever. We have spent everyday together since we were 5 and this was the longest we have been apart. Savannah's mom and my mom were childhood best friends. Growing up, we spent every holiday together, our families were super close. She felt like the sister i never had. Oh wait, i did have one. I chuckled at my thoughts, getting up to get myself ready for the trip to the airport.
It was currently 7:00 and Savannah landed in an hour. I quickly got a shower and made myself presentable, throwing on a t shirt and some sweatpants since i would be dancing today. I threw my shoes on with force and made my way down to my rental car, excited to see my best friend. The airport was 30 minutes away, so i stopped and got us both starbucks and made it there with 5 minutes until she landed.
I practically speed walked into the airport, looking for the right gate. Looking at the board i saw, 'Incoming flight: Los Angeles gate 2.' I quickly made my way towards the gate and sat down to wait. About 5 minutes passed when i saw Savannah walk out of the plane looking around for me. I stood up and smiled at her.
"Sophia!" She said coming up to hug me.
I handed her the starbucks i got her and she took it generously.
"I missed you!" I said smiling at her.
"Soph, me too. You've only been gone a week and it feels like years," She sighed as we walked out of the airport.
"I know, i think that was the longest we've been away from each other," I chuckled.
We made our way towards my car and got in. "I have a surprise for you," I smiled as i buckled up. She looked at me confused but buckled up as well. We spent the drive to my apartment, blaring music and singing at the top of our lungs. It felt great to have my best friend back.
————— "So what's this surprise?" Savannah asked giving me a look.
"You'll find out when we go to set later," I said looking at her.
"But, I wanna know now!" She whined.
"You'll sooner or later. Now come on you need to get changed so we can go." I said trying not to act suspicious.
She got up, defeated, and walked towards the bathroom to get ready. I scrolled through my instagram when a text came through from an unknown number.
'Hey, mads gave me your number. It's Charlie!'
I couldn't help but smile at the text and quickly replied.
'Hi:)'
I went back to scrolling through Instagram. Savannah came out in leggings and a t shirt. Perfect. I thought to myself. She's going to be so shocked when she finds out. We made our way back towards my car and to the set. I couldn't help but look at her, excited for the surprise i had for her today. As we parked, i texted Kenny to let him know we were here. We made our way towards where Kenny was filming the first scene of the day. He noticed I was behind him, yelled cut, and turned around.
"Sophia! Just the person i was wanting to see. This must be Savannah!" He said bringing her into a hug.
"So, Savannah, I brought you here today for a reason," I said and couldn't help but smile. "Kenny and I were talking about how amazing of a dancer you are and how we needed one more dancer to make the show complete."
"I want to offer you a spot on the show," He said as she looked shocked.
Her mouth was open and she hadn't said anything yet. I light bumped her, bringing her back to reality. She shook her and smiled.
