as a small reunion, jinghua's high school friend; dabin had organised an outing with some of their friends from high school and her workmates. the chinese female was free for the day and had been home, cleaning the apartment till it was time for her to meet her friends at the bar. jaehyun was also invited however was unable to attend due to late-night practices for an upcoming comeback with nct 127 so he was busy all night. jinghua did message him about possibly getting drunk tonight as it had been a while since she had gone drinking with anyone or drank alcohol at all.
entering the bar, jinghua spots her friend easily from the way she swung around the table, slurring greetings and funny stories of her high school years when she spotted the idol. "oh jiae!~" dabin cheered, slurring her words and stumbling her way towards the singer who grabs onto her drunk friend.
"yah jung dabin, it's still so early," jinghua laughed, sitting down after setting her friend into her own seat. "how are you this drunk already?" she questioned the girl, bowing to those she didn't know and waved hello to her friends. "you still have work tomorrow," she scolded her friend, sighing as she watched the newly dyed blonde take another shot of soju.
"work can get fucked," dabin slurred, her figure staggering as she leaned over to jinghua, a hand on her shoulder. "drink with me jiae~ it's fun," she giggles.
chuckling, jinghua thanks the male who handed her a shot of soju. "thank you," she whispered, bowing slightly before turning her head and taking the shot. "dabin you probably you shouldn't slander your workplace. you have some workmates here with us," she said to her friend who shrugged, leaning on the table with her elbow.
"nah, yongmin is hella chill," dabin pointed at the male across from the singer. "it's kyungjung i need to worry about," the girl pointed at the brunette beside yongmin who had a small glare on her face. "no jaehyun tonight?" dabin asked her friend who smiles and shakes her head no.
taking a shot that she poured herself, jinghua begins to explain where her boyfriend was. "he's stuck with comeback stuff," she chuckles as dabin pouts.
"that's no fun," she pouts before raising her hand to call over the worker. "sir! can we get five beers please?" she requested. the worker gave a solid nod and walked off to get said alcohol. "how's work? anything you can tell us?" she wriggled her eyebrows at jinghua.
"you know i can't dabin," jinghua jokingly shoved her with her shoulder, quietly thanking the worker as they set down the beer bottle in front of her. taking a sip, the idol enjoys her time with her friends and their workmates. a few more drinks in, jinghua began to feel tipsy. "let's go clubbing!" jinghua beamed, smiling widely as her non-intoxicated friends shook their heads at the girl, scolding dabin when she agreed with the idol. "why? it'll be fun~ we can get more drinks and have fun!" she tried reasoning. "maybe yoonoh would come~ where's yoonoh?" she slurred, giggling.
"aish she's drunk," myunsoo cursed, looking at the idol who stuck her tongue out at him, gasping as she touched her lips suddenly suggesting she should get a tongue piercing which her friends immediately disagreed with. "i'm calling jaehyun. he can take care of her," he sighed, dialling said male. "hey jae? yeah, she's drunk," he sighed.
"how many drinks did she have?" jaehyun asked, hopping into the van and silently asking his manager to drop him off at the bar his high school friends were at. "i'm coming, just make sure she doesn't drink anymore."
"fair enough - yah! wang jiae! put down that shot right now!" that was the last jaehyun heard before the call was hung up. by the time the nct member arrived at the scene, his girlfriend was very much far from sober. giggling, she spots the male approaching them and without a thought, she stands up and stumbles her way over to him, giggling as she jumps into his arms.
"it's yoonoh! hi, baby~" she giggles into his ear, hugging him as he carried her over to where their friends were, saying his hellos to everyone at the table. "can we go to a party? or! let's go to hawaii again!" she suggested with a bright smile, sitting on her chair as she looked up at jaehyun who chuckled.
"no, we are going home," he pointed at her then himself. giggling, she leans into his body and looks up at him with innocent eyes. knowing what she was thinking, he chuckles and takes her hand, forcing the girl out of her seat as they moved to the exit. "bye guys! i'll take her home now!" he called to his friends.
"use protection!" was the last thing jaehyun heard as they left for jinghua's apartment. needless to say, the drive home was interesting...
