"DRACO." NARCISSA'S VOICE RANG  softly throughout his room as his cold eyes locked with hers. The pain swirling in them was obvious, yet he knew what she was there for.

"You have to do it, my love." Her pained whisper seemed to be his breaking point as his eyes pricked with tears. Images of them, memories, ran through his mind as he shook his head. How could he let that go, when he promised her forever?

"Draco!" Her giggles soothed him as he lifted her up in his arms. His eyes seemed to light up as she smiled brightly back at him. She brought her arms around his neck as he clutched onto her waist.

"What's with you today?" She hums softly as he kept his eyes on her. For a second, he doesn't even process what she says to him. "Nothing." He murmurs, bringing her down yet keeping her close to him. Silence engulfs the two as the world around them seems to be fading away.

"I love you so much." He whispers to her. His love clear in his eyes. She smiles, endeared by the boy standing in front of her. Her arms brush through his hair as she grins back at him. "You know I love you Dray."

"I can't." The broken boy meets his mother's gaze once more, now filled to the brim with unshed tears. His sobs pain the woman standing before him as she sits next to him. His head falls into his hands as his shoulders wrack with his cries.

"I'm so sorry, Draco." She whispers sadly, wrapping her arms around him, a feeble attempt to console her son.

She stares in disbelief, trying to comprehend the words that had left his mouth. "You... You're breaking up with me?" Her murmur comes out pained. His heart screams as all he wants to do is wrap her up in his arms and apologize.

"Yes." He states, coldly. For a second, he's afraid to meet her eyes, but he knew he had to. He couldn't let this plan slip. "Why?"

Her tone makes him flinch ever so slightly. The raw heartbreak lying beneath her words seem to stab him like a knife. He musters up the courage to seal his emotions deep within him as his eyes pierce into hers harshly.

"I'm seeing someone else." This seems to be the statement that breaks her as a sob escapes her lips. Salty tears run down her cheek as her heart shatters in her chest. "R-really?" Her whisper is breathless as she keeps her eyes on her now ex-boyfriend.

"Yes." He nods curtly, pursing his lips. Taking in a breath, she nods. Her lips quiver as her tears continue to drip. "If that makes you happy." Her whisper pains him as he watches her reach up to unclip the necklace resting on her chest. SHe reaches out to take her hand in his, gently placing the necklace on his open palm.

"I-I... I love you, Dray." She murmurs softly, quickly turning around to walk away from him. As the distance continues to grow, his gray eyes follow her retrieving figure before completely crumbling in on himself. He lets his tears drip from his cheeks, his shoulders shake as he sobs in pain.

"I'm so sorry, Y/n. I'm so sorry." He breathes as his head falls into his hands.
