It has been days since Elina came to my house and she has been avoiding me ever since. Seriously what's wrong with her. I have been wanting to talk about what she said liking me and I kind of felt sort of happy.

Girls always tell me that they like me but it was so they could get into my pants and have their way with my money. But it was different from Elina, I felt it. There's something in the way she looks at me. I just feel like she's different. Do I like her? I don't know.

During her class I would stare at her the whole time hoping that her eyes would meet mine but sadly they don't. Was she feeling different now she's sober? Was what she said all a lie? I really need to ask her. There are millions of questions needing for answers... okay not really millions just a few.

Fortunately, we were having a school field trip to the zoo. This way I could run into her and we could have a talk about what happened and she need to stop avoiding me though.

We were assigned to our buses and Veronica and I had to separate. Not complaining, I sat with Heather but I got the window seat. My head rested on the window as trees quickly disappear from my view and fell asleep. Heather decided to blast music from her phone, didn't give a fuck to anyone.

"Can you minimize that shit?" I groan, furrowing my eyebrows, my head still on the window. She pretended to not hear me and I turn to her, not in the mood. Grabbing her phone, I gladly turn down the volume and threw it on her lap. Her jaw drop and I didn't care. Comfortably, I hug myself to keep warm and rest my head on the window enjoying the silence. This was short lived. Not three minutes later loud music interrupted.

I roll my eyes looking at her. Not giving her a minute to react, I grab her phone and throw it to the ground causing everyone to look at us.

"Bitch," she stood up, causing a scene. Like I care. I asked you once and will not ask you again. Simple.

"Miss Reed, mind your language!" Mrs. Foster, the principal stood from her seat and scolded Heather. If looks could kill, there'd be hole in my face from the way she stares at me angrily.

"She started it!" ha! Mrs. Foster looks at me and I raise my eyebrow, looking innocently. The principal didn't buy her story or she just didn't have the time to give a fuck of Heather's whining. Humiliated, she switched seat with somebody else and groaning were heard from the back.

Thanks to that, the two hour ride to the zoo was peaceful since somebody else sat beside me. Did he sleep well though?

I stretch my arms, feeling my muscle relax and search for Veronica. She helped me apply sun block all over me. My shades rest perfectly on the bridge of my nose as we pose for a picture.

Uninterested, we shrug our shoulders as we entered the zoo. We were formed into groups and Elina was not our assigned teacher. Bummer.

Originally, Elina suggested for us to walk around the zoo but hell no. It wasn't just me who protested but majority of us did. Bitch, we were raised riding not walking around and have our feet kill us.

Mr. Coleman was a bad driver, he was so damn slow. He guide us to the birds and shared a few facts about them but I focused on searching for Veronica's group instead since Elina was their assigned teacher. Who even made this stupid grouping.

My hands made their way to my pocket as I spotted Elina and her group entering the reptiles zone. I gave two hundred dollars to Paul, who sat beside me, to cover for me although Coleman wouldn't even recognize my absence. Mr. Coleman was too busy giving information to uninterested kids that he didn't notice my escape.

I sneak my way to Elina's group and walked beside Veronica. "Hey," my face curled up into a smile as Veronica looked at me surprisingly.

"What are you doing here?" she whisper so nobody would notice a stranger in the group, which was me. "This is boring," shrugging my shoulders, Veronica smirked. "What do you have in mind?"
