We, as a society, have decided that roses are a symbol of beauty
Of love
Of affectionBut what is a rose without it's thorns?
What is a beauty without a beast? We've subconsciously declared that beauty needs to be jagged
And that love and pain are not mutually exclusiveIf a rose is considered beautiful with its sharp stem
Isn't it fair to say that a rose deprived of its thorns-
Is not as pretty?Isn't it true that beauty can be found in pain?
Love in hate?
Happiness in madness?
And peace among chaos?
