I thought of putting a manipulative dad in the story because my step dad even though he done some bad I always put this narrative that he was just hurting and misunderstood because he raised me and took care of me when my dad was going in and out of jail so I seen him as the only dad that I had in my life even tho i still love my bilogical dad. But my mom divorced my stepdad this year and I don't know why I feel like the weight was lifted off of me because I was the only one who defended his horrible actions but I still love him thank you for reading ❤️
