Felix: The fresh air feels so nice after being stuck at school all day, right?

I nod my head in agreement.

Felix and I are college students, but I only got in because of my scholarship.

My parents disowned me as soon as I told them I was gay so I have to work at multiple part-time jobs to make ends meet.

Coming out on a walk like this every once in a while feels refreshing.

Suddenly, I hear a sound.

*bark*

It's like...

a dog barking?

I stop walking and hold Felix's hand, stopping him from going further.

Seungmin: Lixie, do you hear that?

We both freeze, waiting for the sound to come again.

*bark*

Felix's eyes widen and he immediately starts searching for the source of the sound.

I join him and soon we find ourselves sitting on a bench, tired after failing to find the dogs.

Felix: Where could they be? We looked everywhere...

I nod, too out of breath to respond with words.

*bark*

I sit up and look around since the sound seems like it's coming from nearby.

*bark*

At this point, both Felix and I are standing up and looking for the dogs again.

I feel a slight tug at my shoes so I turn around, but no one is there.

I shrug it off and go back to searching, but I feel a tug again.

This time, I look at my shoes and my eyes widen in surprise.

Seungmin: Lixie! They're puppies!
