"Hey Cadence."Brittany smiled at Cade. Cade only hid or her face in my neck. I sighed.
"We'll be right back. " I said. I walked out the room with Cade.
"Daddy who that?"
"I'mma let her tell you that. Look Cade, don't be shy around her. She should be one person you're never shy 'round. Okay?"
"K."she said and we walked back in where Brittany was.
"Hi."Cade said.

"Mommy you doin it wrong!" Cadence laughed. I'm over here Bitchin' cause they playin Mario cart without me. I'mma just fake a heart attack to get attention.
"Ah. Somebody..help. " I said falling on the floor.
"Umm Cade , don't you think we should help?" Brittany asked.
"He's okay." Cade said. Well damn, that hurt.
"What if I really did have a heart attack?" I asked as I got up.
"Well..." Cadence said as she shrugged.
"No more ice cream then."I smirked.
"I'll give her ice cream." Brittany smirked back crossing her arms.
"Aight then."I said. Come at me bro.
"Mommy I won!" Cadence cheered.
"I see. You're way better than me." Brittany smiled.
"Daddy's best though." Cadence said.

"Goodnight baby girl." Brittany whispered to Cade as she kissed her forehead and walked out. I did the same.
"Thanks for letting me back in her life, Chris. I really appreciate it."
"Yea, I had to really think bout that."
"I know it took you months!" She laughed and I joined her in laughter too.
"Anyway, I'm boutta head home so bye, Chris. See you and Cade tomorrow?"
"Yea. Bye."I said. I think I can finally trust Brittany.
