"You're Punishing Me"

We walked into the other building and looked out of the window.

Two workers were trapped in a circle of fire.

Chief "We got two men trapped. 51, send your line straight down. I need your hose line down there. Bend the line into a U and send it down. We'll pull these guys out using the hose."

I nodded and they let the hose hang out of the window.

Kelly "Florence"

I nodded and climbed down the house.

The workers looked at me.

Me "Hey, the water curtain will keep the heat back.Get behind me."

I grabbed the hose and turned it on and poured the water on the flames.

Kelly "Coming down to you, Florence."

They let down the other hose.

I looked at the workers "One at a time. Step on the hose, wrap your arms up. They'll bring you up."

one of them nodded " Got it."

The other took care of the workers while i took care of the flames.

The workers were both up.

The flames were getting crazier.

Cruz "Coming to you."

Chief "Flo, get out of there!"

I got ahold of the robe and they started to pull me up.

Night. At my home.

Someone was knocking on the door like crazy.

I opened it annoyed "what?!"

Kelly's jaw dropped when he saw me.

yeah, i was only on a towel and my skin and my hair were soaked.

Kelly asked amused "did i interrupt something?"

Me "obviously"

I walked into the kitchen.

Kelly followed me "were you showering?"

Me "what gave it away? my wet hair? the towel?"

Kelly "The shampoo in your that you failed on washing out"

Me "i only failed because some idiot thought he had to show up here. Sorry for my current state"

Kelly chuckled "i've seen you in worse states, Flo, it's okay"

I nodded "so, what do you want?"

Kelly "Renee used the case to get closer to me"

I nodded "Tell something new"

Kelly froze "you knew what she was doing?"

I nodded "yes, of course"

Kelly looked at me confused.

I let out a deep breath "Kelly, the second she stepped through that door i knew that she wanted you back. You aren't a bad boyfriend, Kelly, you just panic and do stupid stuff when things get serious"

Kelly looked at me confused "what is going on with you?"

I asked confused "what?"

Kelly eyed me "you're different. you are.."

Me "done with you. "

Kelly "you moved on"

He looked kinda hurt.
