~how you met~

• being a  third-year at karasuno and friends with some members of their boys' volleyball team, it was only natural you attended some of their games
• what you didn't expect was for a famous setter to flirt with you on his way back to his team... yet you had no clue of who this was
• after he embarrassingly realised you didn't know who he was, he gained the courage to ask you on a date
• with you saying yes while still being unaware of his role in volleyball it was a real shock to see him squabbling with your karasuno friends outside the gym
• he was also shocked but to him, nothing would put off this date

~confession~

• oikawa told you he liked you at the end of your first date, after he had kissed you
• he whispered he short phrase right into your ear before giving you one last kiss and watching you walk away
• as it is oikawa, to him this confession wasn't nearly romantic enough so he did send you a bouquet and a very extra letter
• although it was very sweet the urge to send pictures of it to his team to tease him was even sweeter
• they did make fun of him for it for a while but he didn't mind as long as you liked it

~first date~

• for your first date, oikawa took you to a local restaurant and then a small park where you both played around like children before it got too dark
• the other three third years did end up tagging along behind you (much to oikawa's annoyance) and took picture of you both to tease him with
• most of which he saved and put as his wallpaper
• oikawa confessed his growing feelings for you at the end of the date and finished it off with a kiss
• oikawa's fangirls surprisingly didn't bother you too much after a quick word from oikawa himself
• he really just wanted your first date to be as amazing as possible

~what dates are like~

• oikawa does have a pinterest board with date ideas for you both and you bet he's gonna get through them all
• a projector, blanket and fairy lights or star gazing with a picnic of your favourites are usually his go to
• he does love staying inside and cuddling up for a movie but going out together, even if it's just to a local park or a garden is his favourite
• a lot of your dates are interrupted by either of your friends (daichi and suga did join in once with iwazumi coming too and it was pure chaos)
• takeru also joins in sometimes and will bribe his uncle into buying him many treats
• oikawa does hate it when takeru comes along and ruins your 'alone time' but seeing how happy you both look playing together he won't stop you both (though it doesn't stop him from whining about losing your attention)

~study sessions~

• oikawa is distracted easily but makes sure that all of the work gets done
• he can be a very strict teacher when he needs to be but isn't afraid to joke around with you if you have the time
• he can also get stressed very easily though he's good at hiding it so be sure to help him relax when you can
• cuddles breaks during studying are a must since he claims that it all hurts his head but he's really just rather clingy

~kisses~

• oikawa is a very... passionate person so if you get a small kiss to expect five big ones to make up for it
• he is a sucker for giving you neck kisses- especially when you least expect it or during cuddles
• his favourite thing to do it grab your chin with his thumb and index finger before he kisses you
• he also got into the tedious habit of playing with your bottom lip before kissing you by pulling on it or outlining it with his thumb
• when your hands are in his hair he truly goes weak
• before game kisses are a total must and he refuses to meet up with the other before he gets one
• this leads to a very cranky iwaizumi practically begging you to kiss oikawa to they can head to be court

~caught making out~

• oikawa will get very cranky when someone interrupts you both no matter what it is
• iwazumi will usually throw something at him (making sure to avoid you) to get his attention
• if it's happened continuously (usually when the team decide to be extra annoying) he stops paying attention to them and will do almost anything to you in front of the others

~hugs~

• oikawa is a very touchy (borderline clingy) person so expect a lot of cuddles and hugs at random points of the day
• big hugs are his favourite- whether he receives or gives he doesn't mind
• he will press very light kisses to your neck when he gives you back hugs before burying his face into your neck
• he does prefer to be a little spoon in bed and loves to cuddle into your chest more than anything
• it doesn't matter when or where you are he will hug you if he wants one so always be prepared
• if you're trying to fall asleep he won't hesitate to hum or whisper to you to help you sleep

~jealous~

• oikawa can get jealous very easily
• especially with his 'rivals' such a ushijama and kageyama who you met briefly after a game before oikawa dragged you away
• it does take a long time for him to calm down after it and he does need a lot of reassuring and loving after since he never feels like he's enough
• with oikawa and his many fans it can also be difficult to not be jealous on your half but he does a good job of not leading the fans on and making sure to prove that you are his only love
• oikawa appreciates that it's okay for him to speak to his fangirls as long as he doesn't go too far and flirts with them or doesn't reject their advances
• luckily, all the girls are super supportive and kind so they don't mind when you steal oikawa away after a game since they can't help but love watching the way he looks at you

~sick days~

• when oikawa is sick he does not care if he gets your sick in return he just really wants all the attention you have to offer
• he has no idea really how to help you but does ask his sister for help
• she can guide him through with how to help but he does mess up quite a lot
• he does say "cuddles are the best medicine" but really he just wants whatever you have so he can be babied by you later

~meeting the family~

• oikawa really stressed out about meeting your family but tries his best not to make you worry from it
• he knew how serious he was to be with you and therefore would really like to have your family like him
• it all went very well of course

~favourite part of you~

• one of his favourite things is the way you can encourage him when he's down
• oikawa has never truly felt good enough with anything so you being a constant for him means the absolute world to him
