I've been told I'm dark and foreboding
But I don't think so

As if the truth meant nothing

You think I lack compassion
I think you lack empathy

You think I lack compromise
I think you lack decency

I've been told I'm dark and foreboding

My words are sharp
but my mind is not wicked
