Looking back on it now,
I really should have seen it coming.
I was stupid, and I knew,
but I still hoped and prayed for you.
Love is stupid
and I knew;
I wasn't for you,
and you weren't good enough for me
For sure,
but I still found things in you I adore.
I fell into the sea but instead of pearls and negentrophy,
I found treachery and entropy.
I wonder if I'll recover from this
Pain in me, my heart, my soul.
I've been left before,
but never this cold;
