During October and November, the Indian land experiences an onset of many festivals closely. The months begin with the end of Ganesh Utsav and begins with the early calls of Mahalaya that determines the beginning of world-renowned Durgo Pujo. Navratri rolls in with colours of music and dandiya and worship of Durga Maa in her nine different forms.

Dev Dipawali on the shores of Holy Ganga has a beauty that we can't express in words. Kartik Purnima and Eid-e-Milad e Nabi fill the homes in cheerful vibes. Hamir Utsav, Rann Utsav and Wangala Festivals' spirits remain unmatched! It ends with the win of dharma over evil when Lord Ram ended the tyranny of Ravana on Dussehra. As we slowly enter the sweet time of new winters, the festival of lights knocks on our doors to remove all the darkness from our lives, wishing all of us a 'Happy Diwali!'

Bharat (India) without utsav (festival) is like aasman (sky) without taare (stars) - lonely, dark and unimaginable.
An integral part of being an Indian is to celebrate every festival on a grand scale with pomp and show.

"I am an Indian and we celebrate all festivals in every region of every religion. That is why it is called Incredible India!" - Vinayak Muraleedharan.

It is no surprise that in this two-month's edition of the gazette, we would take a walk to appreciate the festive side of India.
