Black Holes have always been a subject of intrigue among all of us. Thought to be formed by dead stars, these mysterious space bodies are popular for its property - whatever goes in, nothing comes out.

However, they are not the only 'holes' that might exist in the universe.

'White holes' are said to be exactly the opposite of black holes. If you subtract the actual star (mass and matter) from the space-time equation of a black hole, what remains is called white hole - a massless singularity. Just like hitting a rewind button to the video of formation of a black hole!

While black holes prevent anything from exiting, nothing can enter a white hole

While black holes prevent anything from exiting, nothing can enter a white hole. Similarly, a black hole is sucking matter in, while white holes are spewing it out. Just like hitting a rewind button to the video of formation of a black hole!

Now, the question is - how is a white hole formed?
It is definitely not possible to rewind time in space and turn black holes to white holes.

White holes are a hypothetical concept.
No physicist, to this day, has ever found any evidence of the existence of it. The beginning must be from a singularity, which is a problem in itself. After starting with singularity, you have to go backwards, object spraying out the matter and pop, a star is formed.
