A: The boys told Simon to f*ck off and signed to another label. They went on a massive reunion tour, and Larry got married.
B: The boys got stuck in another deal with Simon. Although they're happy to be back, they're mad it's with Simon. Niall got over his issues with the boys. Larry is together, but still with PR stunts.
C: The boys simply didn't want to reunite. They remained friends, and regularly got together.
