the build up for the exam itself had been extra annoying.

"have you been actually studying for this test minho?" his mother had been nagging extra the whole day.

minho sat annoyed at his desk, not even turning to her as he felt like a blood vessel was about to burst. "yes mom." he said flatly.

it didn't help that he was subconsciously pissed at her from what she said to jisung either.

at this point he didn't even care if he failed or not- he couldn't wait to be out of that place.

and yes, soon the test time came and it felt like it took ten years to finish. maybe it was because minho couldn't wait for it to be over.

yeah the initial nervousness of a big exam did hit him slightly, but it was a whole new experience when you actually know the material.

"oh wow." he murmured to himself, and in reality he wasn't in the testing room for long at all. he finished way before a lot of other students. he was kinda proud of himself, he was confident in nearly all his answers.

handing in the test was the best feeling.

he practically ran out of the building, feeling the burden of his parents fall off his shoulders the a second time in his life.

"i'm free!" was the first thing he said on the phone with jisung.

it was 7:30 pm, and he was walking outside.

"yay! how'd it go baby?" was jisung's excited response.

minho couldn't help but smile slightly at the pet name. "it went really well. want me to come over?" he asked, and immediately got a reply back.

"yes. absolutely. oh, felix is over right now too is that alright?"

"yeah that's fine. did you tell him we're official?" minho asked, hearing a hum in reply.

"yup! he's convinced that he had a role in it since he took me to dye my hair though. i don't have the heart to tell him otherwise, so let's let him be proud." jisung laughed at the pout the freckled boy gave from the other side of the room.

"i'm almost there. i'll see you in about two minutes." minho could see the complex in the distance, which he'd never been more excited to visit.

life seemed ten times happier since he wasn't under the stress anymore.

the call ended and jisung made it to the door, opening it and waiting for minho to pop up. the second he saw him in the distance he waved excitedly and couldn't help but run up to him.

he threw his arms around minho without hesitation, making the older yelp and stumble slightly- catching jisung.

"hi baby!!" the younger squealed excitedly, sinking into the familiar warmth he loved. "how are you?"

"someone's excited." minho noted and laughed lightly. "i'm good! how's my boy doing?" he pulled back to cup his face.

"i've missed you." jisung pouted, eyes big and bright staring back at minho. "come inside let's watch movies or something." jisung grabbed his hand and dragged him back to the apartment.

being greeted like this felt unbelievably special.

minho couldn't help but look at their hands and let his mind really trail off to the thought of them.

there was a strong feeling he always got with jisung that he loved. it was amazing; and it took them dating to realize that he always had this soft feeling for jisung.
