Hear me out, guys! Scuttle from Disney's The Little Mermaid as a Maiar from LOTR. One of the Maiar Gandalf spoke of, Scuttle was once known as Scuttle the Gull, but he accidentally turned himself into a seagull with a spell gone wrong, hence why he disappeared, and he went a bit mad, not like insane, but he became scatterbrained from the effects of the spell, hence why he doesn't remember what humans use their shit for because of how badly banged up he got, hence why he has to be politely corrected by Ariel sometimes, even after Ariel learns what human stuff is actually for and despite hearing it from Ariel's human friends and her human husband, Eric, themselves.
