Spoilers: Jade has a stepmom named Nani Pamela McLean (neé Ohana bc I can't think of a better surname, I will look some up later, and named for Nani from Lilo and Stitch and Pamela from Malcolm In The Middle), who married Scott (Jade's Dad) and is controlling towards him and Jade and Grove (Jade's Half Sister through Nani Pamela) because she wants to protect them from the dangers a demigod faces on the daily because she does not want them to die, but she's actually hurting them and making things worse, she does this due to some past trauma. She genuinely wants what's best and for them to be safe, but she micro-manages their lives, every aspect of them, to protect them, only for it to backfire. Scott dismissed her at first, saying she was overreacting, and being a drama Queen, and those words really stung Pamela, so she started seeing an old flame, a character named Helen that is yet to be created, and I have some ideas, and Scott starts seeing Aphrodite again, but regrets it and tries to mend the relationship, but Pamela insists the damage was already done, and Scott is upset because he apologized and tried to make it right but it wasn't enough and nothing is ever enough for Pamela, and Scott and Pamela's, Aphrodite's and Scott's, and Pamela and Helen's theme song is one more night by Maroon 5!!!!! I came up with the idea after seeing a Gimli/Legolas vid about it!!
