Does anyone else notice that Vil behaves like a swan as much as he does a peacock? Like, Vil is twisted from The Evil Queen so he kind of has some maternal tendencies when he looks out for his classmates, and swans are very protective of their young. He's also quite aggressive when provoked and swans can be the same way. His character arc kind of reminds me of The Ugly Duckling too, but if the ending was changed to: you're worthy, regardless of your looks, and you shouldn't rely on external validation from ducks or swans to measure your worth.
