I wake up. Alone. .. just how I feel alone. He left me. He just left.. I hear something in the kitchen

            “james?”

“no honey its me”

            “mom?”

“nichole. Can you please pack your stuff.”

            “why? Am I going back to live in your house?”

I say with a little tint of hope she’ll say yes

  “no. your going away for awhile.”

He told them. I cant believe he told them.

I go up stairs and start packing my things.

            I take out a pen and paper and write.

James love,

          Don’t try to contact me. Don’t try to speak to me. Don’t bother. I don’t love you nor could I ever love you. I don’t lust for you anymore. This is my goodbye.

I don’t have a problem James. I can stop when ever I want. You know I can. Im still that same girl you met so long ago. ………………….

I read this over and over again. Why is she being so harsh, cant she see why im doing this. If she wants goodbye then fine. As long as she’s happy .. as long as she lives…

I whisper to her as she gets into the back of her parents car.

            I see James whistper something from the mirror. I look at him and I don’t try to stop the tears. I just let them come down my cheek. I put my earphones in my ear and blast the perfect song meanwhile still looking at James. I swear I see a tear rolling down his cheek. I make myself look away as I look at my house.. or there house. My parents’ house farther and farther away. I turn the music up loader and rest my head on the window.
