With everything that happened most of us thought that Mikey and Melody would cancel their wedding. However that was never like them. They were a walk through the snowstorm kind of couple. Honestly I respect it.

Here we are the last day before the wedding. The girls decided to all sleep over at Melody's parents house. A good old sleep over. Which normally would sound fun to me but the prospect of being away from Fred while I was already having a hard time sleeping didn't sound all that fun. However I just kept my mouth shut for the sake of my friend.

"How's Mikey doing?" Angie asks as Katie plays with my hair boredly. All of us were sitting on the floor of Melody's childhood bedroom. I've never been to her house for longer than an hour. So seeing her room was weird. It's a big room. The walls a soft yellow. Plants all around the room. Hanging from the ceiling. Pictures and posters plastering the room as well. It feels lived in. Something my old bedroom never felt like.

"He's a little out of it," Melody admits, "he's upset about Sirius... He's still hasn't really gotten over it. And last night he was at Ralan's grave for awhile." I look down sadly. I've never really forgiven myself for that one. I doubt I ever will. "I hope the guys cheer him up some tonight." She takes a sip of the flask then passes it off to Alicia.

"He'll cheer up," Alicia assures her, "no one has been more excited for this wedding than him. He's been planning this since he met you." Melody chuckles.

"She's not kidding," I tell her, "He's seriously been ready for this since the day you met. He'd always go on and on about how you were the girl he'd marry." She smiles brightly.

"And I'd always tell him not a chance," She adds, "funny how I was the one who was clueless." Katie takes the flask from Alicia and takes a long drink before tossing it back to Melody.

"You were determined to prove him wrong there for a while- then you started dating," Katie says, "a big switch for the group."

"Oh I know," She tells the group, "I don't know what happened. Honestly at some point I just realized I really liked him... That I was only turning him down because I knew he'd win." She chuckles. "And now here I am. Marrying the idiot... But he's my idiot." We all laugh lightly.

"So Katie," Alicia says grabbing one of the peppermint toads from the tray of sweets in front of us, "who's this date you're bringing tomorrow?"

"Yeah I was wondering about that as well," Angelina says, "I figured you weren't bringing a guy since the big coming out thing- So who's the lucky lady."

"Well my original Ravenclaw hookup couldn't come so I was really annoyed then I figured why bring someone to the wedding I want to bang- when I can bring someone who I honestly couldn't believe Melody didn't invite," Katie starts, "so I invited Luna Lovegood. She's sweet. And a delight."

"I invited the Lovegoods," Melody points out, "my dad's friends with her dad you dumbass."

"Really? Well still she's my date and I can't wait to listen to her talk all night," Katie says, "she's my favorite."

"Is there anyone who isn't coming?" I ask her.

"We are trying really hard to get Harry here," Melody explains, "Arthur and Ron are supposed to get him for the weekend. But you know how it is to get him out of that house."

"Yeah," I sigh.

"And Percy sent back our invite," Melody continues, "it really bother Mikey... You know the two of them were close. He's always considered the Weasleys to be like his own family. So that hurt him quite a bit..."

"Percy is a bloody idiot," Angelina says harshly, "he still hasn't said anything to the twins about the shop."

"He sent back Molly's announcement about the babies," I inform the other girls, "he's made it clear he doesn't want to deal with us 'traitors'"
