Lee, George, Fred, and Mikey are crowded in the attic at the Cultven manor. Their voices slightly ringing through the walls as they give their radio broadcast. Trying to give all they can to try and keep everyone updated. Meanwhile Katie, Melody, and I are gathered in the Cultven library trying to find a book on dark magic counters.
"You think this is a good idea?" Katie asks as I cling to the ladder to sort through the top shelf looking carefully over the titles. "This radio show."
"I think it'll help everyone it needs to," I say as I hand a book down to Katie. Melody bounces Caelum carefully. Celeste sitting in one of the chairs flipping through a baby boom carefully. "Plus it gives them something to do."
"And a excuse to get out of the house," Katie chimes in.
"It's nice to see everyone," Melody says, "or Well mostly everyone." The lack of Angie and Alicia is clear. The two were in the ministry keeping their jobs as best as they can. The order needed spies anywhere they could get them and the two know exactly how to handle being quiet and playing along. Even if it puts their safety at risk.
"It's just nice to see everyone is okay," I say as I toss another book down to Katie who barely manages to catch it. "Did you hear about Ginny?"
"What about?" Melody asks as she looks up at me.
"She and a couple of friends got into Snape's office and smashed open the glass case where he was apparently keeping the sword. Snape caught them as they were trying to smuggle it down the staircase," I explain, "Luna, her, and Neville I think."
"Godric's sake," Melody sighs, "What did they think, that they'd be able to use the sword on You-Know-Who?"
"More likely Snape," Katie chimes in.
"Well, whatever they thought they were going to do with it, Snape wasn't having it," I share, "Couple of days later he sent it down to London to be kept in Gringotts instead... Bill said the rumor is that it's in the LeStrange vault..."
"Oh Merlin's sake," Katie says, "no ones getting that any time soon."
"Truthfully," Melody says, "I wonder why they wanted it?"
"Well it was left in Dumbledore's Will to Harry," I point out as I move the ladder down the row, "maybe they thought they could get it to Harry?"
"Probably," Melody says, "With Snape's track record I suppose we should just be glad they're still alive."
"Yeah," I start, "Molly's having a field day with it though. I mean she's pissed- more than I thought she would be at least."
"She's putting her life at risk," Melody says, "what happened to them?" Katie looks at me carefully. Clearly worried for Luna.
"I wasn't told for sure but I heard Fred say something about lashings," I say softly as I turn back to the books. Hoping that it would land better if I didn't look at her. "I'm supposed to drop the twins off at Shell Cottage so I can do a mission for the order... I can ask Bill then."
The others all look at me frantically. Stressed about this idea.
"What mission?" Melody asks at once, "and why the hell do you have to do it?"
"To Romania," I explain, "Charlie's got a group camped there. Muggle-borns. They need a healer out there."
"I doubt Fred's pleased," Katie says softly.
"Yeah he's not exactly thrilled," I admit, "he's been trying to find another healer willing to travel that far on such short notice."
"I can't imagine any luck there," Melody says, "did you all ask my father?"
