"But, I have one question," added Amethyst.

        "What?"

"Why can't I see your true form?"

"Aah... You can't figure it out?" Marmalade smirked.

"It can't be a disguise, since I can see through them. I saw your true form in my dreams though, but I can't see it now," inferred Amethyst.

"Because this is my true form." answered Marmalade abruptly.

"... You have purple hair," doubted Amethyst.

"This is my true form in this realm. If I were to reborn, I would have this form."

        "You mean in the future?"

"Anytime. Souls have fixed forms in each world. No matter when I'm born, I will always have this form when I'm here," explained Marmalade.

"So you always assume your true form in every world?" asked Amethyst eagerly.

"It's like changing clothes. You'll get bored if you see that same face everyday, you know. That's one of my abilities - seeing the past, present and future."

"Then what did you mean by you staying here will depend on my choice?"

"Wait, isn't all of this hard to swallow at once?" complained Marmalade.

"It's about me. You're my only clue. I have to know. I'll break them down later though." Amethyst shrugged.

"Let's rest for today." Marmalade sighed. "I'm tired even if you aren't."

"Fine." Amethyst pouted. "But I want to stay with you, I feel like you'll disappear if I don't."

"I won't go anywhere just yet." Marmalade added, "Well, a sleepover doesn't sound too bad, but just for today though. You still have to clarify everything with your parents."

"I thought you were tired? I see you still have so much strength left to lecture me."

"No, that wasn't my inten--" Puff. A pillow landed on Marmalade's face. "Why you!" Both of them engaged in a pillow fight. After awhile, Amethyst was sound asleep.

"And you said you weren't worn out... Rest well, you still have time." Marmalade fell into slumber soon after.
