jeon jungkooks pov;

i arrive home, fresh out of the shower and collapsing on the bed after a long day with heuri and an argument with taehyung.

im so frustrated. i didnt ask for this feeling.

i shut my eyes for a bit.

'should i text heuri?' i kept wondering.

i kept staring at my phone, spinning it around as i tried to think what to do.

i dont think heuri would want to hear from me right now or for awhile actually.

i finally pick up my phone properly and open the phone app.

[ CALLING MIN YOONGI ]

myg:
"uhh..."

jjk:
"yoongi?"

myg:
"new phone who dis?"

jjk:
"its jungkook. jeon
jungkook"

myg:
"oh ayeeee jk! namjoon,
jk is on the phone!"

knm:
"ayeee!! hi jk! how are you?!"

jjk:
"are you guys drunk?"

myg:
"bro its friday night!"

makes sense. damn these hyungs.

jjk:
"can i ask you a question?"

myg:
"ofc!! what is up? and its not
the sky! HAHAHAHAHAHA"

i hear yoongi say with namjoon dying at the background.

jjk:
"its about heuri."

they both stop laughing as i could sense yoongi sitting up properly.

myg:
"why? is she okay?"

jjk:
"i dont know. something happened
tonight and i feel like she would
need her brother for this and i want
her happy so i think its best if you
visit her tomorrow and comfort her."

myg:
"what happened? did you do
something to her?!"

jjk:
"no no!! just an argument
happened."

myg:
"hm tell me everything."

i then told him the whole story from the very beginning with namjoon singing like crazy at the background.

yoongi was being a good brother and explaining things to me, giving me great advice.

myg:
"but wow. thank you for
telling me aye? ill go visit
her tomorrow. you're a good
guy jungkook but don't get
your hopes up too much."

jjk:
"yeah okay. thank you."

myg:
"oka–"

jjk:
"wait are you older than
heuri?"

myg:
"we're the same age but
im older than her by a few
months"

jjk:
"okay ill still call you hyung."

myg:
"you better call me hyung!"

i laugh.

lee heuris pov;

"jungkook told me to come visit you and keep you company because he said he wants you happy."
"makes sense why he didnt message me at all." i say as yoongi shakes his head.

"he chose to do that. he told me that he feels like he needs to give you space and time to think mostly after what had happened." he says.
"so you know everything?" i ask as he nods.

"well how do you feel?" he asks me.
"i don't know."

yoongi starts to do his thinking face. "do you like jungkook?"
i widen my eyes. "i think so."
"do you like taehyung?"
i shrug. "i dont know but i think i do."

yoongi slaps me lightly. "YOU HOE!"
i widen my eyes from the sudden slap. "im kidding." he continues, giving me a hug.

"hm, do you see yourself getting back with taehyung?" he asks me.
"not gonna lie, i do."
"but?"
"he hurt me before."

yoongi sighs. "theres always time to heal and to forget but theres always time to forgive and accept again."
i look at him, pouting. "i've been inlove with taehyung forever."
yoongi smiles. "i know you have."

i sigh. "but jungkook is a really good guy."
"yeah he is but you can't force or change how you feel. if taehyung has made you happy, so be it. try your best but if jungkook makes YOU happy, then you know your answer."

i didn't know what to do.

just thinking about those two makes me happy.

jungkook has been there for me for a long time but my heart and mind constantly thinks of taehyung.

why is this so hard for me?
