The sun was still rising when the team split up in different directions. Casey and Fitz headed for the mayor's office while Richard and Jessica went to visit Mary's parents. John stayed at the station with Don and Gerald and they began looking at each murder closely with the help of Sanchez who had no bodies at the morgue that day.
"Come to think of it I never asked you what happened to that Shilow girl, where is she?" Sanchez asked as she read through the profiles, she was carrying
"She is under the protection of Karl" replied John
"Tonez?" she asked
"Yes, Sanchez is there another Karl in this precinct?" intruded Don and Sanche shook her head "exactly now be quiet I can't think with that squeaky voice of yours filling the whole room" he added
"My voice is not squeaky, is it?" she said
"No, it's perfect don't listen to them" Carol said as she stood at the entrance
"Hey Hun" John greeted her
"Need anything?" she asked
"No, I'm all good thank you" he responded
"I would like some peace and quiet" Don commented
"You are not even doing anything you are just staring at that map biting your pencil" Sanchez complained
"We can bet a ten that this map and pencil is going to solve this case" he challenged her
"Make it twenty" she accepted the challenge "here John hold on to this" she handed John a twenty-dollar bill
"Are you guys serious?" Gerald said lifting his head from the profile of Samuel he was reading
"Yes, we are" replied Don
"Whatever guys anyway may I please have your attention" Gerald said and everyone looked at him "this killer is taunting us" he added
"What makes you say that?" Don asked
"I want you to look at the murder scenes on the map, have you noticed that they are all places where cops patrol" he said "put dots on every place a body was found" he ordered
Don did so and when he was done, he put the map in the middle of the table for everyone to see. Gerald stood up so that he points out what he noticed.

"Bring me the patrol roaster" he said and John fetched it and gave it to him "here" he handed it to Sanchez "read aloud the places with patrolling cops" he said
"West ridge, East ridge, Central Business District, Avenues, Stone edge, Hillside, High glen, Belladona and West, East, North and South Acres" she read aloud
"See have you noticed that all the places that were attacked are on that list West ridge, East ridge, Hillside and the Central business district" he said
