"Six murder cases and still we got nothing" Johnny said as he scratched his chin

"We have got to do something guys its six cases but eleven deaths" advised Jessica

"What do you suggest we do?" asked Don

"We revisit all the cases from the first one we might have missed some details" advised Fitz

"How, as a team or individually?" asked Casey while tying a ponytail

"We vote, I say individually" Richard suggests and everyone votes for individual investigation

"So, I guess we call it a day then" Jessica said standing up

"Wait guys I can't help it but think that, that bartender might have some useful info" Gerald said "call her" he added looking at Johnny

Immediately Johnny took out his phone and dialed. He waited for a while then it was picked up and he put it on loud speaker.

"Hello Johnny speaking" he began

"Mmmm hello handsome I had missed you" she said "where have you been aaarrrggg" she added and groaned. Johnny froze What the fuck is she doing, it's not what you think guys he thought to himself

Thank God Carol isn't here Jessica thought

"I've been around" Johnny replied

"Only if you hadn't refused me because of that love of yours" she said and the awkwardness of the situation decreased "what's her name again......mmmm Carol yeah that's right, how is she?" she added

"She's okay how are you" Johnny answered now more confident

"I'm okay Johnny its work that sucks as always you know how it is" she confessed

"I sure do" he agreed "So the reason I called, is about" he was cut short by Gerald motioning for him to stop

"What?" he whispered

"Your call is being intercepted" replied Gerlad

"It's him" Fitz said

"Hello Johnny you there? My shift isn't over yet you know" she said

"How about I call you later ey" he replied

"Okay, I love you detective" she teased

"Get out of town criminal" he replied and she hung up

"Thats how he is always one step ahead of us he traces our movements somehow, Sahil was a witness she is so you know the deal" Fitz said

"The call was intercepted from just outside east ridge" said Gerlad as he typed something really fast on his laptop

Johnny grabbed his keys from the table and immediately walked out of the room headed for the car park. He quickly reversed out of the parking lot and accelerated for the high way at a tremendous speed. It was a race against time for Johnny he would not forgive himself if she too was murdered before they could do anything. He raced in the highway like a mislead drunk teen and luckily for him there was no traffic since it was during working hours the road was literally empty.

He placed his magnetic light on top of the car just in case he came across a road block, he'd beep it and they won't stop him. He was already driving at 180km/h when he was halfway there. Speeding was kind of his specialty because as a teen he had been arrested countless times for unlicensed speeding, he was just lucky his father was the chief of police so they always let it slide.

Concurrently Sala was also racing through the high way. He had to get to her first or else she would be a threat to him getting caught. I should have taken her out when I had the chance, he thought to himself as he increased his speed even more. He looked at his watch, he only had about five minutes Johnny might have left the station by now and is halfway there. Sala on the other hand knew a lot of routes that made the journey quite short and had taken them so he was left with about 2km to get there and Johnny was still left with up to 5km.
