Why does she pretend
Why does she put on this mask
It's fake
Why's she smiling
And why's she acting
Like she's not drowning on the inside
She wants to be seen
To be heard
But her voice is silenced
Silenced because she can't speak any louder than she does
Silenced because no body cares
No one cares but one
And she's great fun for that one
But she just wishes she didn't have to cry so many tears
Happy tears?
No
But the tears of a happy girl
The worst kind of tears
She wants everyone around her to feel loved and heard
While thinking that no one wants the same for her
Nothing in this world will ever satisfy
Nothing physical
Absolutely nothing
Will fill this whole that He occupied
And she's grateful for Him
But still cries happy tears
Because sometimes she forgets
How much she's loved
She doesn't like that she feels...
She feels way too deeply
Everything hurts 10 times as much
Her vision gets blurry...
