9/11

It was September 11, two thousand and one,
The date we all remember when the twin towers fell.
Planes crashed and fires raged,
It was really living Hell.
People died by flame and smoke,
Doomed by the explosion's yell.
Tragedy struck all over America,
Many souls were damned in cells.
The U.S was thrown into chaos,
No one's mindset remained well.
The world changed from then on,
The event's story a sad one to tell
From generation to generation:
The day the twin towers fell.
