I wanted to create a character who didn't submit to other people. I wanted her to be a strong female lead. In many stories I have read, the female listens to what other characters say and don't stand up for themselves. I wanted to show that you can stand up for yourself and speak your mind. Raven has become a fierce, strong, and intelligent through the chapters.
She has become a character that is close to my heart. Writing her story and her emotions have influenced me in many ways.
Remember you are strong, beautiful, and everything you are meant to be.
