^this is so cute^
[I don't get why people don't like Connor sometimes ;-;]

Trust me:

A lot of people probably think that never talking must be hard. But being mute really isn't that bad. Yeah it's tough at first, but you get used to it. I have. I'm sure the last time I said even the slightest word was over three years ago, and just last month was when Achilles invited me to the Homestead. And so far I've really liked it here. It's peaceful, beautiful and great people. I couldn't ask for anything better.

"Hey (y/n). How are you?" I looked to see Connor standing in the door frame of my room.

Silently I gave him a nod.

"Have you eaten this morning?"

Another nod. He always seems so worried about me...

"Would you like to go for a walk?"

With a smile, I left my place at my bed and followed Connor as he left the manor grounds. Whenever he wasn't in Boston or doing his who knows what trips, he'll take me for walks and try to talk to me. I feel bad that I never return the conversation, but it's nice he understands. He can be quiet as well, making silences between us comfortable.

I could obviously see that Connor was heading in the direction of more of the wooded areas, but I had a different idea-

I walked up to him pulling on his assassin's robes.

"Huh, what's wrong?" Concern filled his eyes. Turning him around, I pointed in the direction of the water. Achilles won't let me down there by myself, and I've always wanted to go though, "I see... Wanna go see the Aquila?" YES! Oh boy I do! I shook my head vigorously with a grin, "then let's go." Grabbing my hand in his, Connor lead me down towards the Aquila.

Hand in hand, I lead (y/n) down towards the beach. She's never gotten to go down there before, so I'm glad to take her.

(Y/n)'s a very peculiar girl, but very beautiful. She doesn't talk at all, but at the same time it's not uncomfortable. I'd love to know why she doesn't talk. She takes in everything around her, acknowledges everyone, and just always seems so happy. I-it makes me happy to see her like this, and I haven't even known her over a month... Is it normal to feel so strongly for someone you really don't know well?

"Can you swim?" I asked her softly. I know she won't actually answer... Instead she shrugged, "so then you can't go in the water..." Again she only shrugged.

That was a downfall to her not talking, she always seems so off put.

My head leaned on Connor's shoulder, exhausted. I practically forced him to take me everywhere I hadn't been. I even got to go on the Aquila! Never had I been on a ship before, so it was a totally different experience. I may have tripped over stuff a lot...

I appreciate Connor a lot... I mean he puts up with me and- I've always kind of liked him.

"You're tired.... I could take you up to the manor." Nodding, I could feel him pick me up bridal style.

It wasn't a long trek, but enough for me to lose awareness. One of the last things I remember was being placed onto a soft cushy bed.

"Goodnight." A pair of warm lips pressed themselves to my forehead.

"T-thank you...." My voice whispered as I sat up, a shy grin on my face. Connor turned staring very shocked.

"Y-you just-" he walked back over to me, engulfing my frame in a hug.

"I-I did... Didn't I..." I buried my face into the crook of his neck.

"I like your voice... Sorry that was strange."

"It's f-fine." I slightly croaked out. My voice was strange. So... Odd. But it was familiar, "w-will you s-stay with me t-t-tonight?"

"Of course." I scooted over on my bed, letting Connor lay down next to me.

"Goodnight, (y/n)"

"N-night Connor."
