ROSE WAS AT the cemetery next to her parents' graves. She had made sure to properly clean the gravestones and placed the flowers on them respectively. The twins who had barely turned one stayed in their car seats nearby Rose as she wiped away her sad tears. The pain of a parent passing away was never going to go away but she was happy that now she had her twins, the gang, her aunt and Mary, and Dally.

"You okay?" The question made Rose look up recognizing it was Dally. They were together now realizing that they did love each other very much. Although the relationship had its ups and downs, they were beginning to mature even though Rose was only 18 and Dally being 19. They both loved their twins very much never once did they keep their eyes off of them and couldn't believe that they had created such wonderful children.

"Yes. It's never easy, though. But it's your 19th birthday Dal and we promised the others we would meet up to have dinner." Rose smiled at Dal who politely helped her up from the ground. He then picked up the two car seats that had Aurelia and Atlas in them who were laughing from the small toys they hand in their hands. Dally couldn't help but grin at the two and noticed how they both resembled him and Rose equally.

"Yeah yeah. I'm not really into that dinner crap, but I'm doing it because of you." Dal said putting the two in the backseat of the car while Rose sat in the passenger seat fixing her makeup. She laughed hearing the annoyance in his voice but thought it was cute that he had only agreed to come along because of her.

She was thrilled that he had decided to step up and change for the twins and her. Of course, he will young and made mistakes along the way but so did Rose and that was because they were humans. But at the end of the day, they came together and loved the twins and each other. Rose was quite shocked when he had told her loved her. It was the day they brought the twins home and despite her feeling like crap from the lack of sleep it made her feel better and she was excited to see what would happen.

They didn't start dating until the twins were 5 months old since Dal didn't dare to ask her but eventually Johnny encouraged him and Dal ended up taking her to the drive-in. Even though Rose had been there plenty of times before this time felt much different since she was with somebody she loved.

When it came to moving in that took longer despite the nagging from Rose. Dal didn't want to feel like a burden even though Jennifer loved him and thought he was excellent for Rose. Finally, he moved in but he and Rose spent most of their time at the gang since everyone seemed to have a great time there. Not to mention how much the gang adored Aurelia and Atlas.

Eventually, the two arrived at the Curtis House to celebrate Dally's 19th birthday. Rose was excited to do something for him while Dally wasn't much of a birthday party fan but couldn't resist seeing how delighted it made Rose feel.

"Don't be such a party pooper. Put on a smile." Rose grinned as she held Atlas in her arms while Dal held Aurelia.

"Alright Alright." He chuckled and smiled gazing at Rose. She gently pushed in Dal into the small house as everyone surprised him.

"Happy birthday!" Everybody shouted instantly making him laugh. Rose saw him look at Aurelia with a huge smile on his face. It was such a beautiful thing to see moments like this with his son and daughter.

"Happy birthday." Soda said walking up to Dal and Rose. Mary leaned on Soda's shoulder and smiled wishing Dal a happy birthday. Mary and Soda had got back together just a few months ago. Mary had come to trust him since Soda got over Rose and now solely thinks of her as a great friend.

"Happy birthday." Johnny and Hazel told Dal who hugged them both. The pair had also got together just a month ago after months of them both being too shy to say anything to each other. Johnny with the help of Dally and Rose arranged a way to ask Hazel to be his girlfriend which she happily said yes to.

It seemed like everything was perfect now even though the group still had problems along the way but knew they had each other no matter what.

"Now let's have some dinner." Jennifer exclaimed the others hurrying to the kitchen appreciating the meals she cooked. She was the adult of them all and helped with cleaning and life advice.

The entire gang ate the large dinner and laughed and even played with the twins who were giggling every second. Everything to Rose felt right and she couldn't believe that now she was here with Dally, her remarkable twins, and family who had supported her unconditionally. She understood that although she might not have her parents anymore she would always have them in her heart and also have a second home back here at the Curtis Home.

"I just wanted to say I love you Dallas Winston even though you were a real pain sometimes. You've become a great dad and partner and can't see me with anyone else." Rose spoke staring at Dal who smiled at the girl he loved. It might have taken him awhile but in the end it was worth it and he never felt more at home than with her and Aurelia and Atlas.

"I love you too Rose." He whispered leaning in to kiss her. The others clapped seeing the two together and Jennifer couldn't help but snap a picture of the two on her camera.

"Now let's bring out the cake before that thing melts!" Hazel laughed running off with Johnny and Ponyboy to the kitchen to grab the cake. A few seconds later they came back with Soda's infamous chocolate cake and 19 lit candles placed perfectly. They placed it in front of Dally who looked away in embarrassment.

"Come on! Let's sing!" Rose shouted looking at Dally who playfully rolled his eyes at her. They then began to sing to him and saw the real smile start to form on Dal's face as he stared at his twins that were in Rose's arms.

"Make a wish." Rose yelled at the end of the song seeing Dal hesitate but then continued to blow all the 19 candles intriguing the twins. Rose winked at Steve knowing what their plan was and out of nowhere Dal's face was placed in the cake followed by curses and leading into a chase around the house. It was funny, and Rose enjoyed every moment of it.

The end of the day had approached soon after the entire cake fiasco and Rose and Dal were eager to go home to spend more time with the twins. After saying many goodbyes to the others, the small family was back into Dal's car.

"Well that was fun right?" Rose chuckled seeing him lift his eyebrows.

"Yes it was." He mumbled closing the door to his car and only grinned at Rose.

"Except for the cake part huh?"

"Yeah you can say that. I don't really like cake all up in my nose. I think I might still have some." He smirked holding Rose's hand who blushed and looked away. Even now his stare still made her nervous.

"Look I want to say I love you so much Rose. You and twins changed myself for the better and I couldn't have wanted my 19th a better way. You three are my everything." He whispered and leaned in to kiss Rose who kissed him back right away.

"I love you too Dallas Winston."

"Now let's go home, so I can clean this damn cake off my face."
