Let's Go To The Beach (Vacation!)

Start from the beginning

"What's this for?" Emi asked as she held up a small shovel.

"It's to dig holes and play in the sand."

"What's this for?"

"You don't know what an umbrella is?"

"I do, but why do we need it here?"

"It's to keep the sun from making us too hot. Besides, I think you'll need it if you're wearing your cloak all day."

"So what do you like to do at the beach?"

"Swim, nap, eat. Stuff like that."

"You feel safe sleeping in a busy place like this?"

"Nobody is hunting me to kill me, Emi."

"Oh," Emi quietly responded. "What does Lector like to do?"

"He swims when I watch him, but his favorite thing to do is play in the sand."

Emi hummed before looking at the edge of the lake to see Lector splashing around at the place where the water meets the sand. She smiled when she saw him start to laugh. He seemed to pick up something before he started to run over to the couple.

"Look what I caught!"

Lector proudly held up a small fish in his paws.

"Lector," Sting started, "what did I tell you about fish you find here?"

Lector looked down before replying, "I know. I can't eat them."

---------------------------------------------

"Are you enjoying yourself yet?"

"I still don't understand the concept, but it seems very relaxing."

Sting laughed before laying down on a towel with his hands behind his head. Emi looked towards Lector to see that he was playing with a couple of children by the water.

"He seems to be having a lot of fun."

"Yeah. This is, like, his favorite place."

"Hey you," an unknown voice started, "what is a cloaked freak like you doing here?"

Emi looked up to the rather tall man and went to say something, but Sting had already jumped up from his position and was standing toe to toe with the man.

"Wanna say that again, buddy?"

"I said--"

"Why do you care that I'm wearing a cloak? It does you no harm."

"Oh? You're a girl, huh? Your voice sounds like you're hot, so why don't you take off that cloak of yours and show me what you look like in your swimsuit."

"I'm sorry, but I'm not wearing a swimsuit. I would also rather you not make such remarks about me."

"Don't be shy."

Sting spoke up, mocking his tone, "Don't be perverted."

"What did you say to me, you little punk? I'll have you know that I can easily beat you to a pulp."

"Oh? Really now? I'd love to see you tr--"

"Sting, we came here to relax. Just ignore him."

The man turned to Emi with his eyes narrowed. He went to strike Sting, but his punch was caught by Emi's right hand.

The man's eyes widened as he stood in disbelief, saying, "How could you have stopped that, and with one hand?"

Emi smirked underneath her hood and looked to see that Sting had laid back down. Emi rolled her eyes before turning back to the man.
