I sat on the windowsill wiping my angry tears thinking about the news I had just received. My father being the coward he was, ran away along with my Mom's jewellary and the cash which Raghav had provided for Mom's medicines and regular expenses.

I wanted to be there, I wished I could go and support my Mom and Tanya knowing this news would have shattered them as it did to me but I couldn't. I wasn't able to find the courage to face Tanya's in laws.

If I had informed them beforehand about my father's doings without caring about getting dismissed, then Raghav wouldn't have lost so much of his hard earned money.

Raghav - the person who I had admired in my childhood, the person who I feared when he married my sister thinking he would turn out like my father, the person who became my brother from my brother in law.

When I had voiced out my wish to go to the college of another town, he had gone out of his way to bring me documents to change my surname legally to his so that I wouldn't have to face the same problems, Tanya faced in her career life because of our father's name.

In this town I was known as the sister of Raghav who had multiple chains of restaurants all over the country.

Not only did he gave me his surname but also made sure that I was safe and comfortable in this new town alone. I was staying in the house Raghav had bought for the visits of his restaurant's branch, he had in this town along with providing me all the facilities so that I didn't need to face any problem here while staying away from my family.

There was no way, I could face him right now. I knew that he wouldn't blame me but still I wasn't able to let go of my guilt.

"Sia dear, I am leaving. Please close the main door", Ganga Tai called out, breaking my thoughts.

"Coming", I told her standing up from my place.

I closed the door behind her looking at the silent house which was occasionally filled with Ganga Tai's voice and laughter.

Ganga Tai was actually responsible for maintenance of this house but upon Raghav's request, she started cooking for me too along with her cleaning work.

It was a good thing she agreed or Raghav would have to waste his time again in searching a cook for me.

I changed my clothes into night wears and waited for another set of nightmares.

It was really stupid of me to actually think that changing towns would make me forget everything. It didn't and the chances of me ever overcoming this were slim.
