Minnie comes to stand next to me resting a hand on my shoulder she squeezed it once causing me to look up from my son's handsome little face once more 'Maker's breath.' I carefully remove my son from my chest quickly standing I turn pressing him into Minnie's arms, I was across the office in seconds throwing my arms around my parent's shoulders with so much force I thought I'd surely knock them off their feet 'Oh gods,' I sniffled against my father's chest catching faint hints of ale and chard wood as the firm hold they held me instilled the painful tug in my chest 'Oh Hazel.' Mum cups the back of my head drawing me into her arms as my father took a step back rubbing a hand against his face with a ragged breath while he watched her attack my face 'Years.' He muttered angrily with a shake of his head 'Years.' I nodded in agreement against mums shoulder knowing how he felt as she pressed another sloppy kiss against my cheek.
