It was a nice summer night, the cool breeze and the smell of the bloomed flowers in the backyard soothed Jisoo after a long day at the office. She sat there with a bottle of beer in her hand admiring the night sky. The stars aligned in the sky making Jisoo smile. She remebered her mother telling her when she was just a child.
"See there baby, all those stars up in the sky? Thats where grandpa and grandma are. When we leave this world we go up there and are stars in the sky."
"Hi grandma! Hi grandpa, I miss you!" Young Jisoo yelled as she waved up into the night sky.
She laughed at herself for doing such thing when she was younger but couldn't help but look back up and wave at the sky yet again.
"Hi eomma. Hi appa, I miss you guys." She said as her eyes start to tear up.
She stopped herslef from crying and took another sip of her beer letting out a sigh. What she couldn't see is Jennie watching her from afar. It was clear that Jisoo was still missing her parents. She couldn't help but tear up herself after seeing Jisoo tear up like that.
"Hey baby, you mind if I sit here?" Jennie said standing near an empty chair near Jisoo.
"No~ don't sit there, sit here." Jisoo pleaded as she patted her lap motioning for Jennie to sit there.
"You know one day I'm going to end up breaking you're legs by sitting here." Jennie claimed as she sat on Jisoo's lap.
"I don't mind you breaking my whole body. As long as you're here with me I'll be alright." Jisoo says as she wrappes her arm around Jennie and placing her head on her back. She takes in the scent of Jennie making her go back to her self place, her home.
"Aish you're always so cheesy. No wonder I fell for you." Jennie laughed.
They sat there admiring the night sky and rembering all the times they had together, the fun and bad times but all of that brought them together here. Together with eachother and happy.
"Baby, what do you want in the future?" Jisoo asked as her eyes were still glued to the stars.
"Well I want you in my life thats a given. I can't even imagine my future without you." Jennie says as she looks at Jisoo.
"I'll always be with you through thick and thing baby. Nothing will get in our way I promise you." She says as she gives her a reasuring kiss.
"Maybe one day we'll have kids of our own. Maybe even adopt a kid as well." Jennie says as she look back at the sky imaging her future.
"One day baby, one day I will make sure we will get everything we want." Jisoo says as she is still looking at Jennie.
"You know baby you've came so far to here. I'm happy you're still here with me." Jennie says as she remembers the times where her and Jisoo barley talked and there lives were still complicated.
"I'm happy to baby. Its been a while but I'm glad I made it. If it weren't for everyone who has helped I probably wouldn't be here with you in my arms." Jisoo says as she smiles back at herself seeing how far she had came.
She saw it. She was happy and she moved on. A year ago she was a completely different person and couldn't even imagine how far she would go. But it got better and now shes here with the person who has been with her since they were young. They saw eachother grow up and change but now they're here together happy as can be.
